Wonder the millions that would have passed hands to organise this charade! It was real. Videos cant be posted on YouTube obviously. In essence, US govt isnt saying the killings are only against christians. They just dont give a dam* about non-christians being killed too.
Maybe theyre suggesting someone else e.g Saudi Arabia should fight for the Muslims being killed |

Good analysis....but....
Itll be nice to state the actual amounts, not assumptions.
Itll be nice to know the actual amount Kano received previously and the actual amount it receives now, so your assertion can be fact checked
Let me help you anyway, Kano received 7.9b per month in 2015 and it receives 41.6b per month now |

Politics › Re: Why Is ENGLISH Our Offical Language? Are We Europeans? by obeegee: 8:55am On Jul 30, 2025 |
Topman7: Great point. Which is why we should do the wise thing, ie pick one of the 'smaller' languages, to ensure harmony.
Seriously, nobody would complain if we were all required to learn Kanuri or Itsekiri as the national language.
The main thing is that we cannot and we WILL NOT speak English indefinitely as a people.
It will NOT happen. We are not Europeans. We are Africans. I disagree. Many nigerians now are not teaching their children their local languages anymore. So, with time our languages will be lost and english will be more widely spoken. |
Politics › Re: Why Is ENGLISH Our Offical Language? Are We Europeans? by obeegee: 7:28am On Jul 30, 2025 |
Most african countries have a widely spoken local language in addition to the language of their colonizers.
Ghana has Akan. East Africa swahili. South Africa zulu. Zimbabwe Shona. Niger rep hausa.
So yes the poster has a point.
The issue I find is that these countries are not as culturally diverse as us. Even when they have multiple ethnic groups, there is a dominant one which has everyone learn that language.
Many northerners in nigeria are not hausa, but most speak hausa. So, by population there are more hausa speakers in nigeria than other languages. So maybe we should teach in schools and adopt hausa as our national language.
But ethnic rivalries wont allow this. |

Politics › Re: Tinubu Puts 20-year-old Presidential Jet Up For Sale In Switzerland by obeegee: 9:21pm On Jul 06, 2025 |
Now the part that caught my attention was the number of Hours and number of cycles the jet was advertised to have. I did some research to see how many hours and cycles similar aircraft could fly in its lifespan. The manufacturer, Boeing puts its lifespan at 55000 hours or 90000 cycles. Our jet had 3821 hours and 1881 cycles. Which means, the jet is almost like brand new by the manufacturer's standards.
This only shows that the excuse of the aircraft being old and not serviceable was untrue.
The new presidential aircraft purchased is far bigger than this one and has a much higher operating cost. The former aircraft 737 bbj has an hourly operating cost of $6,000 while the new one acj a330 has an hourly operating cost of $29,700 |
