If you won't mind ma'am, could you pls enlighten me on how you manage those litter for 7wks without being infected with bad microbe and foul odour?

Chikach:
Do you give immucox vaccines? This 1 that you dont change litters

I use enzymes in my feed, they help breakdown nutrients for better utilisation by the birds, most importantly nitrous that helps form amonnia. Enzymes also keep their stool dry and hard.

Hi ma,kindly furnish me with your plumber pls.i like your nipple drinker line.i need to rerun mine for 1500birds of different ages.
All nipple drinkers functional, but they keep breaking the pipes, did you suspend yours? Do you use a water pump to control pressure in nipples?
Thanks
We actually did the pipe works ourselves, I used stands and some suspension to get it right, I will get you pictures of how we did when I get to the farm on Monday.

You need to get original pipes, they are lost thicker and stronger than the regular ones, you can bend them without breaking.

I didn't use water pump, I got a big tank and raised it very high, that way I get a lot of pressure that I can control with an air valve.

Hmm 1000!
That's a lot. You are a big time poultry farmer. Your birds are on point to hit the kg. Maybe you will estimate 7 weeks.
I have achieved 2.5kg average weight at 7wks in the past, I am looking to do it at 6wks but the disparity in size is not helping.

Oga Emma at what age do you change from starter to finisher? I haven't reached a concrete arrangement on this. cc turks

Agriculture / Re: Rice Farming: My Sweet-bitter Experience. Looking forward & Re-strategizing!! by obiageIi(f): 5:43pm On Oct 19, 2017

The birds are intelligent and adaptive. The siren will work for a few days. When they notice that it's not harming them, they will start ignoring it.

One way to achieve relative success with the siren is to vary the type and pattern of noise coming from it. And not to make it continuous.

Scarecrows are the easiest for the birds to get used to. The birds are so 21st century.

The inflatable human effigy that you find at children's parties will probably work better than motionless scarecrows. Combining this with irregular high pitch noise can have relative success...provided the population of the birds in your locality is minimal.

The bolded is a fact, I had to pull out of my rice farming project few week into harvest to save myself form hypertension

Do you mean an airforce officer can give orders to a naval or officer?

Fg should let capable states handle their security.

Interesting, I hope they stay off the streets, the sights of soldiers stopping an searching vehicles around toll gate Ota on Tuesday was shameful. Clear symptoms of a failed state.

I wonder how long we will kick the can along the road, why not disband the police and allow states handle their security instead of all these crocodile, VGN, peace corp, nscdc and all

Told someone last time that for the dearth of left wing backs that guy is not national team quality. He argued. If we don't address that before the world cup, its early return because the world has an abundant number of high quality right wingers that will rip him to shreds.

Echiejile is the weak link in this team, he shouldn't even make the falcons bench talk more of the SE team, he rendered Moses Simon useless. If only he made a quarter of Abdulai sheu's efforts, the team will be more balanced

I don't know how well you know of native curesbut I've had two siblings who had the same conditions and they had to be brought home for treatment. After consulting with family elders and those in the know, we were told to appease orishanla (a Yoruba diety) and surprisingly after doing this, the spreading stopped and their skins recovered.
We were later made to know that they drank palmwine which is a taboo for people like that.
PS: Not sure it might work for other tribes, it's a Yoruba thing. And please quote responsibly, thanks.
