If the state governors are insisting of not going to pay N60k which even when consider with the current economy of Nigeria, the amount is still low, then when would this new minimum wage be solved.

Left to FG, then can pay N100k convincingly but would the states and Private sectors be able to afford it? No

Let FG have their own standard minimum wage, NGF also decide on which minimum wage they can pay and also the private sectors coming up with what they can pay.

What exactly is the purpose of increasing minimum wage which should be standard but states and Private sectors always use different minimum wage. States that are still paying N18K means they don't use minimum wage, some private sectors pay as low as N10k as minimum wage like security work.

No. States are not equally endowed, not equally populated and not collecting the same from federation account. Companies too are not equally rich. Ask how much teachers working in some private schools are earning. To me minimum wage is useless. What we need is a policy that we make life better for all. States and privates establishments will pay what they can afford.
