Go and drop yours as well. is a new building if you are coming from ordinance round about it is by your right hand. Just enter the gate and tell the gate man, he will give you a sample of how to address your CV.

For starters, I don't have a daughter yet so let's all wait till then. I first of all faulted the op's write-up because it seemed one-sided, until he explained and said its from his/her point of view. I would have expected him/her to be objective about the discourse and especially name the most important factor which is poverty but he/she didn't they waved it aside that's why I said the write-up was skewed in the first place.

I decided to sit on the fence on this one because hell, runs girls are not the problem of Nigeria, they're hustling for themselves and if we're intent on blaming them, we should blame the men who ask for their services too. Afterall if they're not there who will the girls be 'runs-ing' with. I choose not to judge them because I don't know what could have made some of them indulge in such acts. I didn't stop the rest of nairaland from stating their opinion as I stated mine. Y'all are just intent on making me subscribe to your pov which I'm not keen on subscribing to.

Finally, after condemning it and saying the girls are weak and greedy et al, will it stop them? You can keep the answer to yourself.

Yeah, I do get your point, I ain't judging them, hell when I was in school I had 1 or 2 as friends, there's 1 that gists me about her escapades, and even shows me her designers wears et al., after a good trip., Its her choice, but it ain't really the best of choices though, for 1, its a path that is riddled with disaster and may likely not end well. Well, if one is making a choice that will have a negative consequence on his/her person, people he/she does the business with or the society, the least we could do is to ask the person to reconsider, keeping silent or neutral may be taken as consent.

P.S.
I did take your path of neutrality with my runs girls friends back then, maybe because I was younger, without any idea of the way of the world, they were big girls and I did enjoy their company, hell my opinion wouldn't have mattered to them anyway, I was just a youngster. But am wiser now, if I have anyone around doing the deed, I'll definitely voice out my disapproval and tell them that they can do better without trying to sit on a high horse or being judgemental. Its the right thing to do..

There are some things in life you, can choose to shrug and say "hey, that's his/her choice!". Like say, being a vegetarian, a teetotaler, celibacy or even not getting married because hell there is absolutely no consequence of your action on both your person as an individual, your immediate environment and the larger society. But hell naa, a prostituting young lady ain't one of them! Its so unsettling that you would sacrifice your daughter on the alter of liberalism or to score an argumentative point, but hell her actions will definitely affect someone else. If you don't want to feel for your daughter, have you considered the man doing the deed with her? I know you would say its his choice, but think about the poor wife he's cheating on, the children he's starving of attention and resources, or even the dangers he's exposed to like STDs and taking it home to infect the poor wife. Now imaging if you're that poor wife infected with HIV because your philandering husband got it from a runs girl? My dear, please, jump down from that fence and take a stand, nobody will say you're being judgemental because you aren't, you're simply against a vice that could be seriously detrimental to your wellbeing directly or indirectly now or in the future who knows?
