Nigerians, nigerians nigerians, We need serious serious heavenly help, How can people have watched that Planet in Peril telecast and turn it into a "Na them sabi" thing? CNN has nothing to gain here, they ran similar showcases in different countries, the agenda here is that the frigging planet is in danger!!! Did you see the creeks? We say we've seen and heard all this before and still we sit here like FOOLS knowing its wrong but hating when it is highlighted to the world, waiting for an "International Coalition" to come free us from the "Oppression". WE"RE ALL MAD!!! NOBODY'S COMING!!! Nigeria will never progress until we THE FRIGGING CITIZENS decide to go into the streets in protest, round-up the local government chairmen and senators in our constituencies to demand small local results and then build up, demonstrate like in Thailand and Tibet, progress has never come easy, check your history. Someone must be willing to go out and peacefully express how they feel in the face of armed police and teargas and yes, bullets, only THEN will international coalitions be obliged to step in(if they will). We read the lives of Gandhi and Martin Luther King and go ouuh and aahh, we just a lazy, greedy foolish pack of dumb people and the smart ones have figured us out and are keeping us how they want us. Dont blame CNN cos u choose to be exploited and they are reporting it maan. Its even dumber than doing nothing about where we are as a country. To those who say western media only report the horrible things about Africa, I say thats because the horrible things are news worthy, everything else outside a cultural perspective is stuff that they take for granted in their own countries, hence, not news to people. They report their own bullshit, to the point that a man's extramarital affairs is world news for God's sake, they report their own political criminals and scandals, but when they report ours, they're "painting Africa Black". Is Africa not black in more ways than complexion? These people are doing their jobs, we should be more interested in making our leaders do theirs. |
Why do the questions even need to be asked, This is Nigeria, there was no other way Ribadu could have operated, the fact that people were exposed and indicted at all is a bloody miracle. I think all forward thinking Nigerians were glad to see that, regardless of whether it was OBJ witch-hunting or his political terrorism machine. Ribadu did the country a service, whether he knew it or not, He was only very naive to think that there would be no consequences, which is a sad thing for this country. We are being told more or less that anyone who exposes and punishes thieves and criminals in government will be severely dealt with. So there can NEVER be progress, NEVER, things will only get worse as more and more of the moderate political criminals will give up or become full time looters, I weep for my country, |
Funny enough I met a Yinka today in Ikeja on Awolowo Way, and he showed me a 2004 Pathfinder, wierd, |
Nah, too old. Thanks tho. What do you mean by ready to ship? The car's not here? |
Searching for a 2002/2003 Nissan Pathfinder, moderate mileage, good condition(please include pics in reply), alternatively a Toyota 4Runner in same condition, |
I respect Toyin Subair and what he's tryin to do, honestly, I think Dstv is rippin people off. BUT, the product is waaay below Dstv standards, no signal problems and what not and u have bought all the rights to everything(Even the Champions league and Carling Cup) All I can say is, after almost a year in operation, even with the almot exclusive rights of the premiership and having dirt cheap subscription and installation charges, u still only have less than 200,000 users in a country of 140million, then there's something wrong with ur product. basically what is happening is that no matter how sweet it looks, people will prefer to go and watch the match at a bar or viewing centre than pay for a buggy satellite service. The fact is that most of Hitv subscribers are viewing centres. In the end, this is business, and when the huge sums of money used to outbid all other competitors for these rights need to be recouped, Hitv subscription prices will shoot up and then we will really hate them, We want a Nigerian owned satelite Tv option, of course, but there are industry standards that must be adhered to and Hitv has no regard for these, the problem with Nigerians is, we as a people are too used to accepting bullshit service and saying "give them time". |
This must sound funny but, I'm looking for a car around 800K and someone mentioned the Honda Academy, and I swear I had never heard of it. Abeg, what year was it made, so I can google it, or if u have a picture u can post up, I'll be grateful. p.s: any good offers for a Honda or Toyota, Auto Transmission car, post up with pics. |
