Royal^^Pearl^^:I am not against those who unconciously develop foreign accent. I know Nigerian who have acquired a Ghanaian accent as a result of studying in Ghana. I am against those who return home after six months and try hard to keep any accent they might have acquired. Reggie's return to Ghana from the states is more than 10yrs continuous, you would think he would have aclimatised to the local accent by now. There is this Italian who has migrated to Ghana and has aquired the Ghanaian accent and speaks twi. PS: Its demeaning for an African, to boast that he has swagg with the English Language. 2 Likes |
