if you can limit your usage to less than 100gb monthly, you're good to go. Speed is dependent on your location
given our internet usage and MTN's data depletion, I don't think this plan will last past 5 months for a data user.

PoliticsRe: God, ‘deliver Us From Tinubu’s Hardship’, Ogun Woman Begs(pix) by Obviouslyblunt: 5:09pm On Aug 05, 2024
Salewa97:
Tinubu is not the cause of hardship; he's just the man at the helm during a complex time. The issues of unemployment and rising prices didn't start with him. Let’s be honest, every administration faces its challenges. Instead of begging for deliverance, we should focus on constructive dialogue and hold leaders accountable while supporting initiatives that uplift the people. Change requires collective effort, not just protests!
who removed subsidy, unified the exchange rate and increased interest rates? Who borrowed more money from IMF? He is the cause of the hardship.

Wise Nasarawa people don't want protesters to pour sands in their garri. Others can do the job for them.

The SW has been peaceful while IPOB has shut them in at home in the SE to minimize damage to infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the core north are now blaming the ibos for gaslighting them. This is just day 1 grin
im in nasarawa and I’ll have you know the protest was a big one. If you need pictures I can send you. The road was deserted. No vehicles.

Cos of 80k?

A well paid police dpo does not come cheap.
when caught, he will pay everything you spent , or you charge him to court for a jail term. For me , it’s not really about the money, but dealing with a scammer.

Anytime sellers avoid to put price on items,
Avoid to put phone numbers
Or mischievously arrange phone number with words,

They are mostly always up to no Good

Let alone you now paid 80k ahead,

Sadly Nigerian police can't do shit!!

Your money is gone,

Even banks always put a disclaimer before you credit a new beneficiary

Expose them to the fullest so Google can get there details, when anyone search for them,it pops up on Google,

Sorry ooo
with his bio data, a court order and a well paid police DPO, that scammer is only a matter of days away from being arrested.

Harris sudden hold of Joe's campaign donations is criminal.

Those who donated, made those donations to Joe and not Harris.
Let's watch carefully if the so called saner climate will play according to the law

weren’t Joe and Harris on that same campaign? 😂😂 this will easily be thrown out.

Trump is really passionate about who gets in the oval office. It's a strategic move like a chess champion, it's immoral for scamala to lay her hands on Joe's donation. A candidate contesting for class rep.have given more speech than scamala, she belongs to the establishment and at this period America deserves a strong leader who don't give a D*mn about the establishment.
lmaoi, this is him just being scared . Biden and Kamala were already on the ballot. This will easily be thrown away.

Unfortunately starlink won't work for me needing a non CGNAT connection. Like I said, with all the Ads you were seeing on O2tvseries, was it really "free"?
I’ll admit O2 was a pain but it was free to us back then. Omo I don tire o. Thanks for the communication. ✅ I mean it in a positive way.

Not with YouTube now doing server side injection of ads into the video stream. Even adguard, Sponsorblock have admitted that's a big issue. I don't think Ublock will be able to prevent server side ads.
. It works perfectly here for me. Actually using it at the moment, it’s working.

You pay 38k. I pay 170k. So personally for me, 8k is just a small inconvenience. But I still don't pay for Netflix or YouTube. That doesn't mean I will humiliate or mock anyone doing so.

"We all in Nigeria used to use O2tvseries..." Who are the"we all"? Visited that site once and say they were hosting 480p nonsense. Walked out and never went back. Plus was/is O2tvseries really free? With all the Ads and video placement?
38k is for unlimited Starlink access, so why bother myself with adding more to my bill when I can just get it for free? Yes O2tvseries was free to us back then. We had no Netflix , no streaming, nada. Even season movies sold back then were pirated from with O2tvseries or other websites like it.
TV/MoviesRe: Netflix Increases Subscription Price By 40% In Nigeria by Obviouslyblunt: 4:17pm On Jul 24, 2024
airsaylongcome:
Externalizing costs does not make it free bro. Someone always pays. Nothing is free. Plus Netflix for me is suppose to be watched at home, on a large screen while chilling. Not on a phone at work or an office. But I guess, to each his own. I prefer to watch 1080p H256 codec or outright 4k.
now I get what you mean by data, you mean data plans? I thought you meant cookies, or tracking your data. Isn’t a data plan needed for either Netflix or anything online? The “FREE” aspect means you don’t pay any streaming app to get and watch your movies.

you can use Firefox and Ublock origin adblocker, bye bye 90% of ADs on any website and bye bye 100% of ADs on YouTube.

I am not being a downer. I just don't agree when more technically knowledgeable people like you, belittle other non technical people that they are "fools" for subscribing to services like Netflix when then can get it for "free". Are you willing to go round everyone's routers setting up free streaming for the Netflix users being denigrated for subscribing? I host with Jellyfin (I didn't like stremio as its development is very slow). Source my content from all the regular dodgy places. I'm not going to go around screaming that I watch Netflix content for free when I know I'm actually paying with data combing the Internet for content sources
the less tech knowledgeable people can get their stuffs from TFPDL and other free websites that host tons of movies. Before Netflix, we all in Nigeria used O2tvseries and many more, so I don’t see why I’ll pay Netflix 8000 naira monthly coupled with the 38k I pay for data to watch movies, and in turn Netflix only thinks about turning more profit. If one doesn’t care about all this, get an android box and install lots of free movie apps or IPTV. Options are available and endless. And yes Jellyfin is good too.

Even on Netflix your data is tracked and stored and sold.

Plz, i want to understand something. What does streaming in Netflix means? Is it dat anything i want to watch in Netflix, it must be "Live" something. Like football?
nothing really, just paying to watch movies you can get for free. Just like saying paying for DSTV , but with Netflix you need internet connection to watch movies.
TV/MoviesRe: Netflix Increases Subscription Price By 40% In Nigeria by Obviouslyblunt: 3:13pm On Jul 24, 2024

They are not free. If you are watching using free links, you are paying with your data. Those sites are littered with ads and viruses that you don't see. That's how you pay the providers of the so-called free links.
use a dns blocker and block those domains from the router level, now who doesn’t use UBLOCK adblocker. Stop being a negative downer , I haven’t seen an AD for almost 2years now.
TV/MoviesRe: Netflix Increases Subscription Price By 40% In Nigeria by Obviouslyblunt: 3:11pm On Jul 24, 2024
airsaylongcome:
I am not hosting for other users. Or questioning peoples decision making subscribing to Netflix because they can't host theirs. Which is what you inferred that made me respond to your initial post. Hosting yours isn't free so there's really no free streaming platform. That you don't pay money to subscribe doesn't mean you are not paying somehow. Whoever is hosting the server has costs to pay and gets revenue for that from those who use their platforms
use TFPDL if you are that paranoid about revenues, costs and some boogeyman. I actually don’t use plex. I use stremio
