Whoever it was, my point is, they took the law into their hands and if you do not see that fact and even condone it with some silly big grammar law term which you clearly don't know a shit about. Then you are the one that has to stop parading your ignorance . I ask you, if your wife commiits a crime independently, would you be the one sent to jail simply because she is your wife? Your answer to this was yes. It is the law in Nigeria. So, which law states that a husband should be punished for his wife's crime just because he is her husband and nothing else?
Go do what I asked you.

And I ask you, is that mopol the law? What stupidity lies in you? Why not allow the court decide? Where in the world would you pass this as the right law? Martial law or? To punish a husband for the crimes of his wife when she is right there and acted as a free and independent entity? Did she act under his name? Is she an employee of his; acting under his authority? Did she act on behalf of his company? Maybe you should read up on the term you quoted above?
Go and school yourself properly before parading your ignorance publicly. Besides you appear to be too impatient to understand issues before jumping on conclusion. No MOPOL involved here, but a colonel in the army. Learn to read well. Good night.

Umunnem, when will we stop this despicable act of cocaine trafficking? It is no longer funny again. As an Ada Igbo, I am always sad anytime I read about an Igbo caught and killed in Asia for drug related offences. Why have we Igbos forgotten the principles of Ezi aha ka ego ?

We have now left Asia; we have transfered our cocaine trafficking business to the UK. Later we will claim that we are hardworking and industrious. I guess being industrious involves trafficking cocaine

UmuIgbo, this has nothing to do with Yoruba people, let us leave the great Yoruba race alone. We Igbos should tell ourselves the bitter truth. Let us find a lasting solution to this cocaine trafficking crime that our Igbo youth are indulging in.

Chai !! Nsogbu Dikwa !!
It is getting out of hand.

Senseless post. It makes sense to you because it happened to someone else. Man is answerable for the crimes of his wife by law? So if your wife kills someone, the law would charge and jail you? Where do you guys draw these stupid laws from? You guys always look the other way when crimes and abuse are committed against fellow Nigerians because of your self-righteous judgement. Feeling it can't happen to you. You claim as a fact that she has been slapping him at home because you want to find a reason to justify their actions and your sentiments against women whom you believe must be punished anyway if they miss behave. Don't worry, one day it would be you. It doesn't have to be a slap, but the same type of brutality would be passed because someone feels it right to do so. By then, there would be no one to cry for you because people would say you deserve it. With mindset as yours, Nigeria would always be like a Zoo.
Ask a lawyer what is called 'VICARIOUS LIABILITY'. Stop parading your emptiness here. I don't condone insolence, so it can't be me. I treat effing up with dispatch. No time.

Animals everywhere. He would not slap her but can abuse her husband just because he has a pack of wild beasts by his side. Those animals are worse than the woman. Petty and vindictive to the bones yet he thinks saying he will not touch her makes him any better than an animal. He would have just called his wife or any strong woman like her to slap her back and case close. But NO, he is too vindictive he must call his pack of wild beasts and intimidate an innocent man just because he can. All in all, I believe this story is fabricated. Nigerians would do anything to trend on social media.
He may be a muslim. He may be a traditionalist. He may be raised in a home where women are trained to accord respect to men and be submissive. His ego may have been seriously bruised.
Listen up, I have never raised my hand against a woman before but I find it utterly DESPICABLE when I see a woman slap a man at the slightest provocation.

In law, a man is answerable for the crimes of his wife. So the husband should fully receive the public disgrace of having his wife slap him the way 'he has been condoning it at home' which made her feel slapping men on the streets is right.

Next time she should know that every right has a tantamount responsibility.

You are an outsourced staff. That's the evil of outsourcing and why all hands should be on deck to get our labour laws amended to address this evil.

This analysis is so wrong.

My best friend has been working with MTN for almost 10 years.Contract specialists are even paid more than the permanent considering the fact

that they are employed as experienced staff. This is so because other benefits(Leave allowance,13th months salary) are factored into their

salaries. Some even prefer to remain in Contract. Also note that there is always a salary increment on yearly basis for the permanent staff.

A permanent staff that has worked for over 1 year would definitely earn more than a new specialist in the Network division.
MTN does not pay any of their permanent staff N80,000 no matter the cadre. Don't mind the lazy blogger.

Maybe they did a shody job. The ones Okezie Ikpeazu did in Abia in 2015/2016 are still very intact.

People who don't do anyhow don't see anyhow but with rare exceptions. It is a secondary report culled by another reporter which may have left out some details.
No detail was provided in the first place. Just like saying one chief Kunle from Ijebu was mobbed in a bank for robbery. Such information is not sufficient to identify the person and as such worthless. The only useful thing there are the pix which could have been picked from another crime scene. Don't trust bloggers.

Besides, who says a dare-devil criminal cannot go solo due to over-confidence ?
Was he caught with a weapon? The story is sketchy. Who identified the man to be an Igbo chief? What's the name and location of the bank attacked? How were they caught? Which of the 5 Igbo states is he he from? Which LGA? Learn to ask questions well before pouring vile.

Banking is one evil I know of but let me assure you that it has a junior brother called "Telecoms"

The slavery-contract staff in telecommunications also, is next to none. They can dispose and re-employ on a lower package 2 times a year

Our labour laws re totally dead and the orientation of "Man know man" has killed qualification and competency.

And in all sincerity, contract staffing is now the in-thing for all coys. Even LState government is into it! E.g LASG

Best way to short change workers and dispose off at will.
Telecoms own is nothing to write home about. Now that the Chinese, Indians and Lebanese have taken over the industry, it has been totally messed up.

Was so broke that I only had enough money to take me to the bank. When I got to the bank, I was informed that my account was dormant. I asked them to reactivate it immediately so I can withdraw. The cashier told me it would be done by Monday. The day was a Saturday. Bank was UBA, former STB. I had to worry them so much so that the cashier had to lend me 3k for the weekend to be refunded by Monday cos I told them I was going to sleep there till Monday. grin
