Has she tried pumping? Perhaps she has a phobia for actual skin to skin breastfeeding (you would be surprised that some women do)
Encourage her to try pumping her breastmilk into bottles and feed the baby that way.. this might be an alternative that works.. I would suggest the Medela Breast Pump either Manual or Electric.
This way, baby gets the necessary nutrients, mother is taken care of, everyone is happy!

Increasingly, I see older couples advising young married couples to wait before having kids.
To those who started rearing children immediately after marriage, what has been your experiences? Do you wish you waited a while? or Would you rather encourage newlyweds to start bearing children immediately?

No matter how good or bad your MIL is, be assured that she won't live forever. Focus on your own home.

You men that are saying yes .. hope you are not just saying so because of your mothers love to you as her child. Have you considered how she related with your father?
If your mum was also a lovely wife to your father then thats fine, however I have seen occasions where a woman would shower so much love on her children (especially to a son) but that same woman makes a terrible wife to her husband i.e. disrespect, neglect etc..
Marry a woman like that and your kids will enjoy her love while you suffer.
