i want to register for the int1. Please is it possible to prepare for the exams within one month?

Honestly I wish I came across this post before applying for NZ scholarship, this thread has been comprehensive and very helpful, I feel I won't have applied for university of Auckland but well we move. I'm presently in the interview phase and was hoping to find others with experience.
Please a question I would like to ask is, are there people who have gotten NZ government scholarship here and if yes, where you able to stay and work in newzealand afterwards(I'm asking cause the scholarship says you must return and help develop your country after your studies).
