Masterkolinks:It's not Pjamb. Hmm, whatever God has ordained will surely come to pass. I graduated from Sec. Sch. In 2013 and that same year i wrote my first UTME, I got 174. I decided not to process any admission with that year UTME bcus i just gave it a trial to know my standard. So i made up my mind to put in more effort so as to get the better. 2014, i registered my subject combination (Eng Govt Lit. In Eng Econs) and i chose Law as usual. I read verywell bcus i understand how competitive the course is. D result came out, i got 244 Eng. 46 Govt 65 Econs 64 lit in eng 69. I registered for OAU PUTME & ibadan Poly. OAU PUTME, though M not really prepared due to family challenges, i got 256 (Govt. 100 Econs 76, d remaining subjects divided the left marks into 2 equal halves). i really tried to b admitted even if i were given Yoruba Edu., i won't mind but i wasn't. I have no one to process d admission 4 me. 4 Ibadan Poly, i had 55.5 and 58.5 was required for Mass Com. Dat i chose which is d most subscribed course and highest cut off mark in 2014( followed by S.L.T 55.5). I have no one to help me process d admissions. 2015, it took me a while to take away the pains of my admission from my heart. I prepared for the UTME with 10 days and I got 248 Eng53 Lit in Eng59 Econs64 Govt72. I put in for Political Science and scored 55.5 in UNIOSUN PUTME. the average cut off marks are 40.0 and 45.0 for indigene and non indegine respectively thoug i am not an indigene. The person i gave my slip was a final year student who left the campus before commencement of admission. Now this year, i made up my mind to get d best, putting my utmost in it. I read as if this UTME will be my last exam on earth bcus i hope if i get high score than b4, may b it can convinced the School (Unilorin) i chose and i also lower my course again from political science to sociology just to make this year admission easier bcus i have no one. Now i get the shock of my life. Eng 54 Govt 44 Lit in Eng 52 Econs 48. Hmm, M sad and feel dejected, depressed. I don't know if it is d WORLD ITSELF that rejected me. all is well |

I base on comprehensive and extensive read. I read far and wide. As an average student, My 2014UTME is 244 (govt 65, econs 64 and OAU POSTUTME 256 (govt 100/100 econs 76) 2015utme 248 (govt 72, econs 64) AND UNIOSUN POSTUTME 55.5. 2016UTME GOVT 44, ECONS 48. Imagine? This year that i made up my mind and read very well in order to hit higher score may be they (school or management) may b convinced (i chose Law). Yet u call me a dullard. micodon:I'm very sorry for my insulting comment. It is not that i have ill-manner or i am abusive but the way u condemned us all made such abusive words. I am very sorry and i wish you accept my Apology. I am very sure ur siblings will never have up to 240 that is y i challenged u to post their scores. It is just by fortune ur siblings scale through this depression and misery. I also read of a guy on dis thread who said he was expecting something not more than 170 due to the fact that he was unable to finish the questions and he was sent 230. It is just by luck. You have to put things into consideration b4 condemning us. Over 95% candidates are complaining of being marked miserably and unfair(most below 200). Though it happens that students come out of exam hall and be boast of their work whereas some will be fantasy but this issue is an issue of gross misconduct. If the examination body can admit to their fault last week to the extent that they dashed out 40 marks bonus to all the victims, why can't they also do such a mistake with others. This issue of low score took off immediately SENATE extended UTME RESULT validity to three years which is a bad market for the organization. Sir, u may be of help, the organization and Ministry f Education have not said anything. Please help someone who is helpless M sorry again 4 d insults. 4 Likes |

Masterkolinks:u had better keep ur stinking mouth shut if u don't have reasonable thing to say. What u typed above shows nothing but ur stupidity and inhumanity. How could u just conclude that over 95% of candidates that are complaining that we were marked miserably below 200 are all olodos and incompetent. I was marked down in Govt and Econs which are my best subjects. Govt 44 Econs 48, UoE 54 Lit in Eng 52 which can never be possible. There is no doubt that this year JAMB(utme) is a big Joke. In the first week of the exam, most candidates passed and even candidates were given additional 40 marks but since the SENATE have extended the validity of Jamb result to three years and also made minor amendments, the Examination body have kept on failing the second week candidates. I wrote mine on 9th and it was to my surprise that i scored 198. Use of English: 54 Government: 44 Lit in English: 52 Economics: 48. I couldn't believe my eyes when i checked my result on my phone. The amazing part is that of Govt and Econs which are my best subjects. I can bet perhaps with my life that not less than 30-40 marks were deducted from those subjects. I can never score less than 80 and 70 in Govt and Econs respectively in this year utmE. As an average student, i had these scores in the previous years. 2013UTME GOVT: 56 2014UTME GOVT: 65 econs: 64 OAU POST UTME:govt:100 econs:76 2015UTME GOVT: 72 econs: 64 UTME2013: 174, UTME2014: 244, UTME2015: 248. Though i wasn't admitted to the universities i chose previous years (due to reasons that is clear 2 God and d Managements), i was admitted to FEDPOLY EDE (but no financial assistance) this year that i made up my mind to perform more than ever and do my utmost to get the best, i was shocked and depressed with my score. Everybody is complaining. The tread is really rocking nairaland.com and even made its front page. There is no doubt or contemplation on whether this year Jamb is a failure and gross misconduct. For God's sake, how can a sect of candidates be given additional 40 marks and other sect are denied their real scores. I call upon all people and authorities who are in position of help to do something needful to it before it get out of hand. Pls don't keep watching while JAMB is destroying the future of we that will inherit u and be tomorrow's leaders. Note: if u are in position of help and u refused due to the fact that ur siblings, relations and children are not affected, remember what goes around comes around. It may be your people's turn. Opinion: I don't ask for any additional 40 Marks from Jamb but rather the exam body should give all candidates our real scores in all the subjects (by remarking the exams) or the Examination board should just conduct afresh exams for all candidates just to clear their mess. All Nigeria govt kicked against the RACISM APARTHEID POLICY which led to removal of South Africa from COMMONWEALTH NATIONS in 1961. During the Military regime of Buhari, he donated $10M to the native South Africans Late Dr. Nelson Mandela came to Nigeria after their Independent to ACKNOWLEDGE and Appreciate Nigerians and the Governments for their total Support. My political role model WAS Saraki but he had got the seat of my most hated politician. Before he joined the party, there are essential people who brought the party into existence. He joined the party with his HIDDEN presidential ambition when he noticed there is nothing more for PDP. He kept his hidden agenda because he knew there wasn't a chance for him. This TRAITOR called Bukola Saraki forget the promise the made in campaign I.e CHANGE. He never want to be an example of the change that will take place. My fellow Nigerians, believe me or not Saraki need not the Position of SENATE PRESIDENT, it is his over ambition that is ruining his life gradually. He only Usurped the position of S.P just to use it as stepping stone for 2019 Presidential election which he believed his future is bright in PDP a the sole candidate. Everybody knows Saraki is a PDP member. He chose Ekweremadu as D.S.P and Okpabio as Min. L just to draw near SOUTH SOUTH &SOUTHEAST face to his side and sidelined SOUTHWEST(Yorubas) in his appointments forgetting he is a Yoruba man and speak in Yoruba language. He claims north because of his over ambition. I just pity the man trying to be the wisest politician and acting like Maradona. when the game he is trying to play against PMB and APC) pounce back on him, he will end in Jail. (when he lose Immunity Clause, EFCC with arrest him for his #6 billion fraud. I hereby call on Yorubas and Nigerians @ large to be vigilant and be wise about their decisions. An overambitious person who betrayed his party loyalty, the Democracy and Nigerians @ large, what do you select from him as a PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REP. OF NIGERIA  I call on the LOYALIST and Right-hands of Mr. President to alert him about the danger of Saraki as S.P, he must find a means of eradicating him with immediate effect or else PMB want his Government to be the worst ever. The First to be blamed is the Imam who led the Sâlat (Prayer/worship). He is most responsible for such act by the King because he ought to check the people @ the first line very well b4 he proceed sâlat (worship) but to the fact that he was PANIC & perhaps not TRUTHFUL or fearing to notice the King of such Solemn Mistake. Secondly, the king is also @ fault for such act. in fact he committed a great sin with his personality. If not for his position as a renowned king many would have lambasted him including me.
