The answer is actually in Pogba and Bruno’s hands. If they turn up and we are leading by 3 or 4 goals Amaka might take them off and send VDB on, but all these 0-0 and 2-1 games are too dicey for Amaka to trust him just yet.

Yesterday’s game for example was not the right occasion for him.
He has the defensive weakness of Bruno and Pogba without offering their goal threat or creativity.
