Take away Gyokeres, which other top attacker do you have in Sporting? Trincao? Lol...Quenda? Still too young so how exactly did they not expect him to struggle against a defensively solid team like Arsenal? At United, he will have Cunha and probably Mbeumo behind him, two forwards who gave defenses in the EPL a very tough time over the past 2 seasons, you also have Amad, and Bruno, so will Saliva and Gabriel focus all their attention on him? This is Gyokeres vs Arsenal.

Saliba and co gave him a very tough time, reducing him to long range inaccurate shots and half chances. All those quick twists and turns to run at goal and score vanished. He was frustrated in the end.

It’s the quintessential example of how the majority of EPL defenders will play against him. Unless he has something else in his arsenal, like Osimhen does, it will be quite difficult for him to shine— not impossible, but difficult.

Please share the videos you watched let me see because the Gyokeres I watched is adept running at defenders and scoring all types of goals. I agree he is not that prolific in the air, but then, it's not like we put a lot of balls into the box.

I actually feel he has not had a competent agent all through his career. I am just imagining him under jorge mendes, late raiola or even that morata's agent.
He wouldn't have even gone to turkey last season as they would have proposed him to a big club then use bonuses and match incentives to cushion his huge salary.

Just look at joao felix, with how bad he has been playing for three seasons now, they will still find one big club to push him to this season again.

Osihmen's camp need to communicate clearly on what the player wants. I think there's a lot of "dem say" news about the player's demands or aspirations.
this is a transfer window where clubs like Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcelona could use a center forward of his calibre. how are nobodies like Sesko, Ekitike, Mateta gaining better traction on the market?
