To be fair Amad will thrive tactically under any formation but yes those other players you mentioned will do well with a switch back to 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1.

A few more academy players will get minutes this season for sure. His twins are actually in the way of some of our other potential prospects (Kone, Thwaites). He will probably do what any father will do. LOL

Maybe you are bringing twitter and internet issues here. I don’t think people here said sacking him was the wrong decision. What has been said is that it is not yet Uhuru.

I personally am not moved by sackings anymore. Until I see how the club is moving in terms of new manager appointments and squad building. The last 2 sackings (which were all richly deserved) have made us worse. We need to get the appointment after the sacking right. That is the crucial point being made.

We are still lacking in certain departments but we have a squad that should at least perform better and pick up more points. As I highlighted several posts back, losing against 10-man Everton, picking one point against Wolves, West Ham and Leeds is unacceptable...

Even if we are fully back on track, there would always be the need to strengthen the squad from time to time..especially during summer Transfer windows.

Not sure you can pinpoint anybody here who is of the opinion that we shouldn't strengthen.

With every sacking things appear to get worse. Even this interim appointment of Fletcher dey risky. He has been coaching for less than 6 months.

The first thing I did when I hear the news was to go to check out points in the table to make sure say relegation no dey possible this season again.

Like I always say, the sacking of a coach is not the main issue but the appointment of the replacement is where we stumble. We also need to improve in squid building.

The only manager left that I have some hope in is Nagelsmann but he is another philosophy king. With the last 2 appointments those philosophers don dey scare me.

That's it. Were we not happy when Ten Hag was sacked? How did it turn out? They went ahead to sign a stubborn manager that will not tweak his system. And you want me to take it easy with the board. Hehehehe

Our squad is crap. Our two fullbacks are Dorgu and Dalot. Midfield of Casemiro, Urgate, Mainoo and Bruno. Only Bruno and Mainoo are solid options in my opinion. Casemiro is on borrowed time.

Only our wide foward and center back options are good.

Let's not lie ourselves. The board needs to get to work. You people are the ones going back.

What people are saying is the board should buy players so the new manager can take us forward to a better place. I don't know why it's triggering you guys.

We are 6th. Same points with Chelsea so I don't know what you want this season with the squad you have since you said you don't want to challenge for title

Amorim insisted on a formation that was supposed to ensure we were solid at the back but it was counter-productive yet he stuck with it.

If Fletcher lines us up in a 4-3-3 like what I have below, we will make light work of most teams in the league...

Whilst I agree that the squad can be improved on, you can't argue that if properly set up and managed, they're few teams in the league with better squad depth and overall quality.
