Education / Re: School Of Nursing Babcock University Admission Form 2021/2022 Is Out by odontoid1: 1:57pm On Dec 10, 2021
Thank you for this information. Please I wan ask, does Babcock University have two undergraduate nursing programs?

1. One leading to BSc Nursing?

2. General nursing program leading to RN?

I asked this question because I am looking for admission for my daughter and on the school website I saw Nursing Sciences and one of the courses offered by the University and here I saw another advert for general nursing in the same school. Are they the same program or are they different? Please clarify.

Thank you.

From requid.

We have spent the last few months working on debt recovery for delayed payments. As we have shared with you earlier, we engaged the services of a law firm and fund recovery partner with the sole objective of helping us drive our fund recovery efforts.

Here are the development between our last discussion and now with respect to fund recovery:
Greenfold: We have received commitment from Greenfold through our fund recovery team. They provided us with a postdated cheque and a written undertaking to pay a considerable sum of the debt by December 31st this year. The recovered value should cover about 25% of payments. In addition, they have provided a written undertaking to have completed payments by 30th of June 2022.
Abadini: As previously communicated, we received post-dated cheques from Abadini due at the end of January and March 2022 respectively.
Novus: Due to ongoing court proceedings, farmers are being mandated to remit funds intermittently. Our efforts to seek compensation are also in progress, while our fundraising efforts are still underway. Recovery is coming in slowly, thus the stated date of 31st December, 2021 may not be realistic. We will provide further additional details shortly.
Farmsponsor: Despite previous commitments from Farmsponsor, we are yet to receive any payments. However, over a month ago, having not received any adequate confirmation from Farmsponsor on their readiness to meet with the adjusted payment timelines, we initiated a process as we did with Greenfold to enforce recovery. We are hopeful that we will get tangible results soon.
Groupfarma: Payment settlement arrangements are in progress with the help of our fund recovery partner. We are hopeful that we would have a more concrete commitment shortly.
We will share further progress with you soon.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Kind Regards,

Juddy

Are you into the business of real estate?? cheesy

No, I'm not.

Yes, I agree, it's not easy. But nothing good comes easy. Besides, it's better than gambling with money in this agritech business.

Thinking back, I was just lucky not losing my money in these agrictech investments. I almost lost over 5m with ThriveAgric. But thankfully those ones paid all back. I think that was primarily because they have VC backing. I'm sure the payback came from their VC's, who then decided to take the company private. I never invested in all those other mushroom agrictech companies like Letsfarm, Eatrich, etc. One look at their instagram and website was enough to show that they were just fronting. They were a fraud from the get-go.
I also invested a lot of money in Farmcrowdy. A whole lot. Up to 17m. Thinking back, that was just foolish risk. But so far, Farmcrowdy has not disappointed, though I'm beginning to think they are unsustainable in the long term. They clearly lost money from their crowdsourced funds, but then decided to pivot and stop doing crowdfunding. Now they partnered with a microfinance bank and I have the belief that that's where their lifesaver came from. Anyways, I have managed to take out all my money this month, though at a significant loss if compared to the way the naira has depreciated over the past months. I think I made like 22% or so and the naira depreciated over 50%. So, overall, no real gains. I still have like 800k there, which I'm also going to take out later and then say my goodbyes to agrictech investments.
The real problem is, what can one even invest in in Nigeria these days without either losing money from naira devaluation or losing one's money to fraudsters disguised as businessmen? I'm still waiting for that one viable investment. And don't tell me land. I have land already and want something more liquid.

Lucky you.

One of the reasonable investments is real estate. It hardly depreciates. With the huge amounts your are calling like CBN cool cool, you can do well by investing in real estate. Just get properties in vantage positions or fast developing areas and in a few years you will be happy you made the choice.

Please, can someone who attended requid zoom meeting share the outcome with us ? Thanks

Come to think of it, why is it taking so long for requid to send mail regarding the outcome of the meeting? I doubt if the meeting held because I tried joining via the link sent to my mail but I couldn't.

But for the benefit of doubt, those who could attend should kindly furnish us with the outcome of the meeting if it held.

Thank you.

Please, has anyone received payment for any matured farm on REQUID recently? Looks like requid itself is now defaulting with all recklessness.
.

I join you in asking this question too. REQUID is no longer what it used to be. Nowadays, their farm would mature and they would neither pay nor communicate to the investors until days after the due date. Then they would send an overdiluted, non-committal email. Very pathetic situation for REQUID investors

Did they send any mail explaining the reason for the default?

They(requid) sent one watery mail 2 days after the maturation date.
The mail was sent on the second July and since then, no payment.

The body of the mail reads as follows:

"How are you doing today?

We wish to notify you of some developments on one of your investments that matured on Wednesday, 30th of June, 2021.

As of this moment, we are waiting to receive confirmation of funds Greenfold. Once this is done, you'll be notified and your wallet will be credited immediately.

While we await this, we implore your kind understanding and support.

Again, we sincerely apologise for every inconvenience this delay in payment has caused you.

Warm Regards,

Juddy"

Hello everyone. Greetings to all.

Please, no body talks about requid and their matured but unpaid investments. Or am I the only one they have not paid?

My investment in Greenfold snail farm(invested in though requid platform) matured on the 30th of June and they are yet to pay me.

Please what is going? Why this unusual quietude about requid?

VestPay is introducing what is called KYC (Know your customer). This requires users to upload their documents such as BVN, Drivers Licence, NIN, Voters Card etc. This is all in a bid to better secure user funds and prevent fraud and money laundering. All of these are in line with CBN Policies. And it is standard practise to have limits. Even banks have limits on their various platforms all to secure your funds. Imagine you have no limit and someone gets a hold of your Vestpay app and transfers all you funds all at once. Imaging how terrible that would be. VestPay is only trying to provide a better service for its users a secure one. All of these are standard practises inline with CBN policies

One sided preaching.
If I may ask you, why is it that it is only at the time "you"(Vestpay) are to pay that we have to do all the "imagination"? Why was such limitation not put in place at the time of funding the farms so that people could cut down on their sponsorship? To further support that there is an ulterior motive behind the introduction of the KYC, why is it that even after the documents are confirmed, verified, etc, the person cannot still withdraw all his money at once if he/she choses to?

Excerpt of the mail from Vestpay

Hello ...,

How you start your day often sets the tone for the whole of it, so be sure to have a mind full of beautiful thoughts!

Good afternoon, and hope you are having a productive day.

Good news! Vestpay’s first official payout on investments will be happening on the 27th of April and will be settled into your Vestpay wallet. We are giddy with excitement for our Vestor who will benefit in numerous folds from this. ..., are you excited?
To ensure a seamless withdrawal experience we have improved our automated payment system.
As such, withdrawal limits have been set to help us serve you better. The limit are set based on your user level.

Vestor level 1: For vestors who haven’t uploaded their documents on the app, payments will be restricted to a maximum of ₦100,000 per day.

Vestor level 2: For vestors who have uploaded their documents but who haven’t been verified yet, a limit of ₦500,000 per day has been set.

Vestor level 3: For vestors whose documents have been uploaded and verified, a limit of ₦1,000,000 per day has been set of course, your withdrawals on vestpay are totally free. Wait, what were you expecting!!!

Please who understands what documents they are talking about?

I hope this is not an ingenious way to hold back people's money. Not a good start for Vestpay at all. Why didn't they limit the amount with which one could fund their farm based on whether one uploaded whatever document or not? Why would they wait until time for them to pay before sending such mail and introducing such restrictions? This is like changing goal post when the match is already on. I hope farmsponsor will not allow Vestpay to tarnish the reputation she has built over the years.

On my end, the sponsor via vestbank button isn't greyed out and once I click on it, it asks me for how many units I want to sponsor.

Perhaps you should check again.

The sponsor via vestbank option will work if you already have funds in your vestbank account. But if not, after you have selected the number of units and click, it will tell you insufficient funds.

But the button to add fund to the vestbank account is grayed our (not active)

Agro-partnership payout literally took 15 seconds.(I know I bash them because I never see any rice or poultry farm. But this their payout is like magic). grin cheesy Does anybody know if Agro-partnership have reacted to the new SEC crowdfunding rules?

Farmsponsor still has available units you can purchase via vest banking on their app, in case some people are still interested.

This Agritech Investment is tricky. You'll diversify your Investment across 5 farms you think have a good structure, and then one of them defaults, and cancels out all the gains you made with the other 4. grin

Hopefully, TA pays up this month.

*The highlighted

To be frank, I don't understand the new concept Farm sponsor is trying out. They have units available but can only be sponsored via vestbank. Meanwhile, the button for funding the vestbank account is already deactivated. Also, the button for direct sponsorship is equally deactivated. So I am wondering how else one can sponsor their farm when the button are not active.

The units on their vestpay app have been sold out some days back.

When you receive your result (hard copy) it’ll come with an EOR form. The instructions are also there. All you need to do is fill the form indicating which sections you want to be remarked, scan and send to the email provided including a proof of payment (you can do a transfer). You’ll get a response within three weeks. It costs 27,000 but if your scores change you’ll get a refund.

Thank you very much for this information. I will go and collect my hard copy of the result ASAP.

One more thing. Is there any bank account indicated on the EOR form to which one makes the transfer?

Thank you
