If a female does not see her period in 6 months, its naturally safe to assume she is menopausal........

How many GP'S has see seen to seek a second, third or even forth opinion ? It is free in the UK to seek medical assistance (if she is a legally in the uk )
She should ask her GP to refer her to a consultant or better still present herself in A & E..........

As to your curiosity, yes. Hep B can delay or stop menses ,esp the cchronic type with a high viral load. I have had a similar patient.
And as per cure? Yeah, it can be cured, esp if treatment commences early.

I have someone who was diagnosed of hepatitis b last year and she's been seeing the doctor. she also complained of menstrual seizure, she hasn't seen her period since last year and this is really affecting her psychologically.

please, she is currently in u.k now, the seizure thing happened in u.k just after moving there for post graduate studies , it was there they also discovered the hepatitis b thing.

please guys , what could be the connection, cos initially , she was told the seizure thing could be because of change in environment I.e from Nigeria to U.k...but after a year, things are not the same again ..she's loosing it ..she cries a lot .

could there be hope? cos she's really a loved one...and what's the cure for hep b? could it affect the period thing ? thanks .
