PoliticsBREAKING: Akeredolu’s Aide Loses Cousin To Suspected Fulani Herdsmen by Odua1stson(op): 7:17pm On Feb 05, 2021
Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have killed a cousin of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on New Media, Gani Muhammed.
The deceased identified as Dayo Ibiye was killed on his farm at Ajowa Akoko, Ondo State.
Speaking to SaharaReporters, Muhammed said,
“Three days ago, Dayo, who was my first cousin, went to his farm and met some Fulani herdsmen
around the area, so he told them not to come towards his farm but to his surprise, they told him they would come to the farm and he would not do anything. This led to an alteration between him and
the herdsmen. They warned him after that not to come to his farm again, that was three days ago.
“So today, he went to his farm. Before you know it, those Fulani showed up at the farm. The person with him, on sighting them, ran away. Before the police and other villagers could get there, he had been killed. We met his lifeless body on the farm.”
Muhammed added that the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the morgue.
The incident happened a few weeks after the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, ordered herdsmen to vacate the state’s forest reserves within seven days.
Apart from ejecting the herdsmen, the governor also banned underage grazing, night grazing, and movement of cattle within the cities and on highways.
He had said, "Today, we have taken major steps at addressing the root cause of kidnapping, in particular, and other nefarious activities detailed and documented in security reports, the press, and
debriefings from victims of kidnap cases in Ondo State.
"As the chief law and security officer of the state, it is my constitutional obligation to do everything lawful to protect the lives and property of all residents of the state. In light of the foregoing, the following orders are hereby issued: All forest reserves in the state are to be vacated by herdsmen within the next seven days with effect from today, Monday, January 18, 2021."
The issue generated an uproar and after a meeting with different stakeholders, Akeredolu asked
herdsmen to register with the government so that they can operate unhindered in the forest

PoliticsYoruba Stakeholders Resolve To End Fulani Herders Attack by Odua1stson(op): 7:38am On Feb 05, 2021
Monarchs, traditional worshippers, clergymen and technocrats from the South-West, yesterday, converged on Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and resolved to stop attacks by Fulani herders as soon as possible.

The stakeholders, who spoke with one voice at the emergency Yoruba International Summit organised by the Yoruba World Assembly (YWA), led by Dr. Taiye Ayorinde (Chairman, Governing Council), said that enough was enough for Fulani’s kidnapping, raping, maiming and killing of innocent Yoruba farmers and residents.

The summit, with the theme, “Tackling the menace of human insecurity and food insecurity in Yorubaland,” was held at the Western Hall, Parliament Building, Secretariat, Ibadan.

In attendance were the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin, who was represented by Prof. Nelson Fasina; the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, who was also represented by Abraham Rotimi; Dr. Wale Babalakin (SAN), who was represented by Revd. (Dr.) Yinka Adepoju; Dr. Victor Taiwo (Chief Convener and Secretary-General of the YWA); Revd (Dr.) Eyitayo Samuel (Oyo State CAN 1st Vice-Chairman); Imam Adediran Wahab, among others.

While they lamented the manner many Yoruba sons and daughters had been killed allegedly by Fulani herdsmen with impunity, the stakeholders identified traditional rulers, community, religious and political leaders, and the rich in the society, as problems of Yoruba, saying that many of them had abdicated their roles of protecting their subjects.

They said it was high time they all rise up to fight for Yoruba’s emancipation.

Besides, the stakeholders apologised to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, on behalf of Chief Sunday Adeyemo (a.k.a. Sunday Igboho), who threatened to attack him and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for failing to tell President Muhammadu Buhari the truth about Yoruba people’s discomfort with the Fulani they nevertheless, commended him and pledged their support for fighting the course of freedom of the Yorubaland.

The monarchs in attendance separately supported calls for the emancipation of Yoruba from the Fulani herdsmen, arguing that Governors Seyi Makinde and Dapo Abiodun of Oyo and Ogun states were right in following the dictates of the Nigerian Constitution with regard to Fulani eviction, but said that the people should not allow visitors from other tribes to take over their land.

PoliticsYou Are Forgiven, Ooni Replies Sunday Igboho by Odua1stson(op): 7:09pm On Feb 04, 2021
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has accepted the apology tendered by popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho.

He said Igboho, who apologised on Wednesday in a viral video for declaring the Ooni disappointed Yoruba nation for not speaking the truth on herdsmen killings in South West during a recent visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, is forgiven.

Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ooni’s palace, Mr Moses Olafare, told The Nation Sunday Igboho remains the son of Ooni.

He said: “He has forgiven him as he had tendered an apology via a video clip he produced via social media yesterday evening.

“Before tendering the apology, it was the Olugbon of Ile-igbon that first called and informed Arole Oodua on the phone that he had scolded Sunday on phone on his misdeeds and that, he would soon tender an apology to him on the matter. Sunday Igboho later released a video in which he tendered the apology.

“Even though the way and manner, Sunday behaved was sacrilege to the Oduduwa throne but he has already apologised and I can confirm that Arole Oodua forgiven him, because, there is no perfection in humanity. Sunday is a human being like a normal human being who could misbehave as well”.

He went on: “As the father of all, the Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II remains his father who had even identified with him in the past two weeks he has begun with the struggle and he is still solidly behind him for the liberation of the Yorubas from criminal herdsmen who have adamantly terrorised our land.”

Our Monarchs with their wet mouth and oil stained hands; It's high time they start coming clean!
Some of these monarchs have disrespected their sacred Stoll just for "penny and gum-body accolades".
It's high time they realise their worth.
We can't put them up while they insist on dragging themselves too low.
You sold your people off to be raped, murdered, molested, kidnap and even mare their future with
severe unemployment because you've exchange your voice for some "bills of dollar" notes or contract. It's biting back hard now.
They keep denying the obvious truth and primary purpose of why they were made a monarch.
Trading for politics the last pint of honour and courage we hope to align on from them. Too sad.
Here we are, Just here is where their selfishness, betrayal, lies, and self-centeredness had lead us. They fly in chattered jet, move with heavy guided aides leaving us in cold, vulnerable and begging. We are begging to be protected. Yes, it has gotten to that.
A citizen now have the mind to "insult" them, many called them names and some begin to raise eyebrow to such? Aren't they really what they are called? It might be bitter to swallow, but it is the truth.
Where are this logical analyst when they were quiet and things were going so bad, before it get to this
stage? English don't pull trigger... Action does!
All porous and draining honour can still be revive. Yes it can be revive, with truth, self respect, feeling and
speaking the mind of your people, support their plight and constructively ensure their wishes prevail.
Especially in this current reality of sadness and fear of murderous herdsmen.
Because, if this "politics" of "who disrespect who" persist without looking into how it happened, and
how we move through it and proffer lasting and desirable solution that resonate with the wish of the people, we might just be scratching the surface of more disrespect to come.
I pray, and hope we get it right fast. Everywhere is heating and everyone is unstably angry. I just hope, all would be calm soonest before it all blown out of proportion.

PoliticsIgboho: Ooni Failed Yoruba By Not Telling Buhari Truth About Killer Herdsmen by Odua1stson(op): 9:38am On Feb 03, 2021
Popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, well known as Sunday Igboho, has said the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, disappointed the Yoruba people when he visited the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), of recent over the herdsmen crisis rocking the South-West region.

The activist stated this on Wednesday morning at a virtual ‘Townhall With Yoruba In Diaspora’ monitored by The PUNCH.

According to him, the monarch failed to convey the pains and displeasure of the Yoruba people to the President during the visit.

The PUNCH had reported that Igboho issued a seven-day quit notice to herdsmen accused of sundry crimes in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State and enforced same.

Oba Ogunwusi after meeting the President, however, urged Igboho not to take laws into his hands.

The monarch had said though Igboho has done well to speak for the downtrodden, it was time he allowed the constituted authorities including the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, to take charge and handle the security challenges in the state.

But the activist said some politicians were behind Ooni’s latest move, adding that the monarch disappointed the Yoruba people by not speaking against the killer herdsmen in the region when he met with the President.

Igboho said, “The monarchs are now afraid but we must keep praying for them to be united with one voice. They should not be afraid of arrest at their age. Some of them don’t even grant audience at their palaces any longer. So, everything is now in God’s hands.

“When Ooni met with Buhari over the herdsmen issue, Ooni should have told Buhari the truth but he did not. When Ooni returned, he started tackling me to leave the remaining task to the government to finish. You can imagine that kind of talk?

“Alaafin of Oyo has asked me to meet him over the matter. Alaafin should have been the one invited to meet Buhari but since the Ooni was invited, he should be bold to tell the President the whole truth and make the demands of the Yoruba people known to the President.”

“The Ooni disappointed himself. Some politicians are behind Ooni’s latest move. He invited me to his palace but I refused to go. I would have gone if he had represented us well but he did not. I won’t honour any monarch who does not cooperate with me. Enough is enough, the Fulani have done enough,” the activist submitted in the teleconference monitored by The PUNCH.

PoliticsThe Northern Elders Forum Warns Against The Demonization Of Law-Abiding Fulani by Odua1stson(op): 5:42am On Feb 03, 2021
The forum on Tuesday expressed concerns over the ejection notices issued to Fulani herders, noting that the trend is setting the country on a dangerous path.

Sunday Adeyemo, a youth leader better known as Sunday Igboho, recently issued an ultimatum to

Fulani herders in Ibarapa local government area of Oyo state.
Following up on the ultimatum, he visited Ogun state on Monday, vowing to “flush out” killer herdsmen.

Reacting to the development, the northern elders called on President Muhammadu Buhari and other security agencies to wade into the matter.
“The forum has been receiving reports of attacks on Fulani communities in the south, since the night of Sunday, January 31, and had taken the responsible step by drawing the attention of authorities to the dangers which these attacks represent for all Nigerians,” Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, NEF’s director of publicity and advocacy, said in a statement.

“NEF is deeply worried by reports of ejections and attacks on Fulani herders and communities in some states of the South.

“Law-abiding Fulani communities are advised to seek protection where it is available, and urged to resist the temptation to take the law into their own hands.
“The vast majority of Fulani are law-abiding and have rights to live lawfully wherever they can find means of subsistence.

“Like all Nigerians who can be found in every inch of Nigeria, the rights of the Fulani will not be abridged by criminals hiding behind ethnic interests to exterminate them.
“There are criminals in all ethnic groups, and the nation will be treading dangerous grounds if it

continues to tolerate the demonization of entire groups over particular types of crimes.
“The forum demands the immediate arrest and prosecution of persons who are attacking Fulani and setting the country on a very dangerous path.

“The Fulani will not be ejected from any Nigerian community only on the basis of being Fulani or herding cattle within the limits of laws and
regulations.

“States which seek to limit criminal activities are perfectly entitled to do so, but they must follow due

process, and avoid exposing innocent citizens to danger at all cost.”
The forum called on northern governors to be prepared to receive the Fulani communities if they are forcefully ejected from the south.

“If communities in parts of the country insist that the lawful Fulani is unwelcome and has no right to their security, then the Forum will advise them to relocate to the North,” the statement read.

“Northern governors should move urgently to prepare to receive Fulani communities being forcefullyejected.”

The forum appealed to Nigerians to “exercise restraint” and not to play into the hands of “people who desire to achieve dubious political goals by pitching citizens against each other”.

PoliticsInsecurity: Akeredolu Raises Alarm Over Illegal Immigrants In Nigeria by Odua1stson(op): 8:37pm On Feb 02, 2021
Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has expressed concerns at the alarming rate which illegal immigrants pass through the nation’s land borders to perpetrate crime in the country.
Akeredolu raised the concern on Tuesday in Akure when playing host to Mrs Dora Amahian, Zonal
Coordinator, Nigeria Immigration Service, Zone F, comprising Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States.
The governor said that Nigerians would be shocked to know the number of illegal immigrants who daily come into the country through the land borders.
He said that there was a need for urgent action to tackle the issue of illegal foreigners becoming permanent residents of the country.
“Something has to be done. A number of criminal activities in our forest reserves are being perpetrated by foreigners. We are facing serious security challenges.
” I don’t know if you can face the challenge. I am not too sure your efforts alone can be sufficient. There is the need for collaboration with other security agencies. Peace is what we are talking about in the
country,” he said.
Earlier, Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Dora Amahian had appreciated Akeredolu for sustaining the cordial relationship with the immigration service in the state.
She said recent events had shown that security was not an exclusive preserve of any group or individual,
“rather, it is inclusive of all and sundry”.

“As an arm of the nation’s security architecture and first line security agency, we are soliciting for your
continuous partnership to facilitate our efforts at ensuring a secured and peaceful state,” Amahian said.
The ACG appealed to the Ondo State government to support the service with provision of land to build its state command headquarters and patrol vehicles to enable it carryout surveillance, particularly around border communities in the state.
She also solicited the support of the media in the area of advocacy to disseminate information to
educate Nigerians on their roles to protect the country’s territorial integrity. (NAN)

BOKO HARAM AND ISIS FIGHTERS ARE MORE IN YORUBA FORESTS THAN FULANI HERDSMEN : THE
DANGER OF OCCUPATION OF YORUBALAND IS REAL .
My Plea is that we ensure that Yorubas are planning for the protection of our Hamlets ,towns and villages as we go ahead with the " SUNDAY IGBOHO LIBERATION OF YORUBALAND RACE.
My sincere Regards to him and i salute his bravery and courage in his quest to free Yorubaland from
bondage .
As we all know the forays of the invasion Army consisting of Boko Haram , ISIS fighters from libya ,
Chad ,Mali and Niger into Yorubaland can not be ignored , it has been on for years , at anytime they can launch a frontal attack posing as Herdsmen on Reprisal attacks inthe South West ..This is the First level of insecurity that is threatning Yorubaland .
The second level of threat to our security is What is called the "El Rufai/:Ganduje"s theory of occupation " under the Fulani Agenda .
This is the massive deployment of Almajiris, Internally Displaced Citizens who on a constant and daily basis are being deployed southwards for both political and
Economic gains so while Okada riders are banned in so many Northern states ,these set of people are deployed with motocycles in trailers down south at the period of ban in the North , but today they are paid for as they are assembled by their lords and master it is no hidden fact that the thousands of cells of Almajiri deployed from the North but now
operating as Okada Riders ,scattered all over our land are the forward base of the fulani treachry designed to take control of the entire Nation Nigeria particularly
Yorubaland in fufilment of Uthman Dan Fodios dream.
So the" Fodio dream is on "
With a mixture of ISIS trained unemployed youths of Hausa/ fulani and other tribes extraction camped in our deep Yoruba forests , the lurking danger of continous attack by these set of savages on our towns and villages is being executed slowly with reprisal attacks on Igangan and other Yoruba towns by ISIS fighters posing as fulani Herdsmen .
The best move is to set up day and night patrol in the liberated communities and this can be achieved with a combination of Local Vigilante , hunters , farmers ,
OPC and its many factions set up as our local patrol teams under The Amotekun Security Network for
South West states..
The Aare Onakakanfo and members of OPC and its many factions are maybe the only immediate security wall of defence that can be set up .
Iba Gani Adams Working with the Sunday Igboho security surveillance teams must be on patrol of areas of heavy inflitration of yorubaland by the invaders they must be quickly detected and destroyed . The Operations must be funded with the Security budget of the South West for the Nigeria Police Force . The Security vote funding from the South West Governors should be used strictly for this purpose for the next 2years minimum .
The demobilisation of such ISIS/BOKO HARAM camps and cells in Yorubaland must be immediate .
The trickry and threachery must stop ...Yorubaland is under Siege and it must be saved and can be saved by you and i .
Just pass it on to all concerned parties ..

By femi fani-kayode
Mr Kolawole Odetola, who I do not know and I have never met, wrote the following contribution and every Yoruba man and woman ought to read it.
This was not written by flesh but by the Holy Spirit and it is what I have been saying for the last few
years. He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying.
I commend the author for his courage and I urge him to continue to sound the alarm until it is heard in every nook and cranny of the South West.
The Yoruba elites will hate him for speaking this bitter truth just as many of them hate those of us that have been speaking it for many years but the truth is truth.
Posterity and history will treat us kindly for having the courage to speak it despite the scorn and insults that are often poured on us on a daily basis and that we are often subjected to by those that cannot see beyond their noses, that lack courage and that have
decided that their lot is best served by turning a blind eye to this great evil that has beset us and seeks to destroy us, by being slaves and by selling their people into perpetual servitude and bondage.
I welcome Odetola into the ranks of the heroes and I thank him for standing at the gate and resisting the evil like brave Horatius in Thomas Babington-Macaulay’s famous 19th-century poem titled ‘Lays of Ancient Rome’.
Also read: Buhari has failed woefully, want to lie through to end of tenure ― Junaid

He wrote:
“It’s easy for rich and middle-class Yoruba including the radical ones living comfortably in the big cities to
dismiss the attempts by poor yoruba’s in the countryside to defend themselves from sponsored
terrorism ( herders) as tribalism or ethnic jingoism.
But the day these herders and fundamentalists take over Lagos (and one day they will) -the only natural barrier for them; where they cant ‘graze cattle’ is the Atlantic ocean, the penny will drop and the urban elite will wake up from their complacency – but by
then it will be too late.
When that day arrives and these ‘herdsmen’ stop the Yoruba educated elite from clubbing, partying, Owambeing stop them listening to music, force their wives into the hijab, stop them connecting to the internet, behead them in public for ‘adultery’ and ‘
fornication’ and raise the black flag of Islamic fundamentalism over the 3rd mainland bridge, resistance to the herdsmen will no longer be dismissed as tribalism as it is now its the Yoruba lower classes bearing the brunt of the assault by these neo-fascist armed gangs.
Then it will become a fight for ‘democratic rights’ new revolutionary slogans will be coined, passionate speeches will be delivered at international human
rights seminars, NGO’s will spring up like mushrooms
– But by then it will be too late.
Now its the poor yorubas in the villages fighting for their land, livelihoods and their very lives, a fight that doesn’t concern the Yoruba middle classes as it doesn’t impact their shiny office blocks in Lagos, their access to social media and the glitzy banks where their money resides. It’s a tribal, ‘ethno nationalistic ‘sectarian’ struggle.
Ignoring the reality that the biggest danger to democracy in the country today are the fundamentalists in the north call them what you will
– Boko Haram, ISWAP, Herdsmen, bandits.
They are different branches spouting from the same poisonous root.
They are armed, protected and indulged by a Nigerian state built by British imperialism around the Northern feudal Oligarchy, – the most backward, the most reactionary and by a country mile, the most retrograde ruling class on the African continent with a mindset frozen, like an iceberg, in the 18th century.
What they are dishing out to peasants in Oyo, Osun and Ogun states will one day be visited on the lawyers, doctors and journalists dismissing the ‘tribal’ struggle in the Yoruba countryside. If anyone believes this is about ‘grazing land’ they will soon be
disabused of that notion.
If you allow armed herders in the Yoruba countryside what argument would you have to stop them settling in Lagos? Is there not grass in Lagos? Where does the grass in Lagos end? – The Atlantic Ocean”.
Kolawole Odetola has displayed such wisdom, such insight such foresight and such courage and I could not have put it better myself.
Let us hope that someone listens before it is too late.

OONI AND HIS JOURNEY TO ABUJA
This loose and offensive talk about disunity among the Yoruba should stop. We Yoruba Nationalists are united in our vision and mission for the emancipation
and independence of the Yoruba. In case of the Ooni, the guy is riding on the wave of popularity among his people in Ilé Ifẹ̀ and perhaps in some cross section of Yorubaland. This may have gone into his head and gave him a bloated image of himself. He is obviously mistaking the backing of his people for a broad Pan-Yoruba support. He has been going to Abuja on undisclosed missions and whatever he has been doing clandestinely there is obviously in the interest of the Nation of Oduduwa. He and other Lobaloba are being bankrolled by Tinubu and his charade of 2023 political charade is their main agenda. He is in cohort with the Satan of Sokoto to truncate the actualization of the Peoples Republic of Oduduwa and
he will fail. That our people are under siege and in disarray in our fatherland does not concern them. The fact that the Yoruba have become slaves, captives, prisoners and victims in our fatherland is none of their business. Having known that our political merchants, governors and the Lobaloba are enemies, the duty and mandate is on us to use traditional and modern
means to dislodge them and run them into the bush.
Let us patronize our Blacksmiths in our hometowns and localities to produce small arms and light weapons to protect and defend ourselves. We should also mobilize our traditional power practitioners to deploy our ancestral weapons to liquidate and annihilate the invaders and marauders. The time is now to work as a people. You have to also realize by now that there lots of hausa/fulani masquerading as Igbo or Yoruba to cause disunity. As an Igbo, this issue of fulani menace in the west will affect the east. As a matter of fact, we also have that fulani herdsmen destruction in the East. Only a foolish Igbo will wish and laugh at Yoruba at this time. If the west falls, the east will definitely fall too. So, please use discretion when responding to some basta..rds here. May we rid ourselves of these monsters who are making lives unbearable for our peoples.
brother your head dey there, you are my real nigga
