Alhji ameh was a business man. He deals in cashew,palm fruit, rice,plank and other business inorder to meet his family at the point of their needs. When he wanted to go into oil business,he consulted his wives and children on the name to give his new business. They later agree to name the business "ours cooperative nigeria ltd". By then Angel was in jss 2. She helped her father in selling petrol in their gas station since they were on their second term holiday. Since Alhji brought up all his children in a very religious way,they were all willing to help him in his new business which led to its expansion. Angel was in jss 3 closer to her second term examination when she matured. For the first time in her life she was shocked when she woked up in the morning and saw her pant stained with blood. She rushed into the bath room and washed it off and change into a new one. About 20 minite later she checked again and still saw stains. She has seen her mum and step sister doing it before but she never belive that she will do it someday.she ran and show her step sister who told her that is called "menstration" and that she is now a woman. Angel did no belive her so she went and show her mum her wet pant, who lectured her on how to use pad. Amina also told her to reduce the way she play with boys. Tha if any man touched her she will become preganant.angel did not understand her mum and she did not bother to ask what she mean by that. For three days angel was not her usual self.she ate little and kept to herself. Angel became a very shy girl,she could not even eat with her brothers any more.

Alhji ameh has four wives. Amina is alhji first and beloved wife. Amina has six children; five boys and one girl(halimat).halimat is the last and only girl of her mother. Angel has she is been called by her parent brought joy into the life of amina. She prayed day and night for a baby girl until God answered her prayers by bringing angel into her life. Angel grow into a beautiful girl. She was so much loved by her mother. Amina spoilt her with expensive cloths which made many people to admire her. At the age of 11 angel was through with her primary education and gain admission in to all girls secondary school where he met an igbo girl name Ngozi. Ngozi was a very jealous girl who refuses angel to make friend with any of her tribal girl. She will tell angel that her tribal girls will influence her negatively.
