Hello Everyone,
I recently received offers for the September intake for my MSc in Project Management from both Ravensbourne University and the University of Hertfordshire. Ravensbourne University is located in North Greenwich, SE London, with a tuition fee of £14,500. The initial deposit for CAS issuance is £8,700 (60%), with the balance of £5,800 due in January 2025.
The University of Hertfordshire is in Hatfield, UK, with a tuition fee of £16,500. The initial deposit for CAS issuance is £5,000 (60%), followed by a 65% payment of £7,475 in January, and the final balance of £4,025 due in April 2025.
Really confused of which offer to accept as I'm slightly aware of the high cost of living in London. Please advice on which offer to accept considering cost of living, rent, transport, tuition fee, racism and my likelihood of quickly getting a job as a student in both university and location.

London is tough, I’d advise you go with Hertfordshire. Whatever you want to do, it has to be now. Time isn’t on your side again

I had a previous visa refusal which I declared to my school and even explained why i was given the refusal. I got my CAS 3 days after application without stress. Same as my friend, she even had 2 UK visit visa refusals sef.

My bad, just heard some schools don’t really care so far you can explain, but I also know schools that won’t issue the cas once they see visa refusal even if you explain . So bro it’s calm

Yea correct, some schools don’t care. It’s best you ask students in the particular school you are applying to

If you declare it to the sch, you can say bye bye to your application. Declare it to home office alone!!

If the pick up mails comes first, it’s most definitely means your visa has been granted.

Check the how to pay section on Teesside website. There are different means available there. For us in Nigeria, the easiest and cheapest way to pay is through Bank transfer. You must enter the bank and fill a form called FORM A. We were charged at CBN rates. However, if you aren't in Nigeria and your money is in Nigerian bank, it is better you transfer to the account of a trusted person here who will enter the bank and do the processing for you. The process takes, like a day to 3 weeks depending on the bank and number of applications they have.
Because you don't have a mastercard, you might not be able to use the Payment Online option, which is by far the fastest means. Anyways, you can ask someone who has a mastercard to help you do this from any part of the world.

To answer your last questioin, I make the payment ASAP so as to process your CAS on time. If you applied from Nigeria, you'll be required to provide bank statement. But those applying from some countries do not need to do this.

Well said but even from Nigeria, you might be unable to use the MasterCard for such transactions as the limit on naira MasterCard is 100usd monthly

Oyetola will remain as the governor because the appeal will be filed on Monday morning, and once a case is in Court, status quo has to be maintained...hope I have answered your question?
