OMO bill does not have any specific calender set date, it is subject to whenever CBN decides to mop up funds in the public.
OMO bill does not have WHT, for the person that asked. It is still new to most banks, so unless you push them further, you might not get any information.
Yes true. Like he said earlier, many people don't have idea. He need to pressure the account officer to get more info from their treasury.

Were you able to bid via your bank? I remember you raised question here also

Good evening my people. Pls can someone throw more light on how to access this OMO investment o.
I did secondary market tbills yesterday with GTB. When my account officer sent me the rates via Whatsapp, she without me asking told me that out of the two available rates displayed that one was tbills while the other was (in her words), "this new thing introduced by cbn". When I asked her to explain better she said even she does not understand how it works. I had to do the regular tbills I was used to. Abeg who understands how we can go about it or what to say at the bank pls.
Thanks 🙏
Good evening Chief.

FG uses tbills and Omo to mop cash/borrow from public.

The OMO is usually shorter and I am not sure if there's a calender for it unlike Bond and Tbills.

Your bank will be the best position to advice you when it comes to auction/amount to invest etc

That 22% on their main page is just marketing strategy. The highest they can offer is 18.38%. I had pitched my tent with fairmoney. It's just a fixed deposit for 1 yr
This is upfront na.
Rate at maturity is 22%.

Make I no comment about observations again? Anyways, nothing makes a football forum interesting if there are no differing opinions etc. Reason the Ronaldo vs Messi debate continues to rage on, no matter who has achieved more or is better.

Please when is the next TB bidding date either secondary or primary for 91 days ?
Is the rate the same across all banks ?
Secondary is every work day(Monday - Friday), the next primary should be this week also.

Though one was held last week

Won't be possible, since they're acting according to the law. What I do is, i just deduct it myself and then leave it in the account before taking out the interest.
It's very possible at the point of interest payment. They can easily deduct the 10% from the interest

A Stanbic IBTC T-Bills offer shows a management fee of about 1% but no withholding tax (WHT) stated.

The value shown/estimated at maturity is also without additional deductions.

Is WHT and/or additional deductions expected at some point?
WHT is statutory deduction. Still confirm from Stanbic

I don't know where cowrywise is paying all my dividends into. It has been difficult to resolve this.

Pls who can recommend fund managers that are so transparent with their paying of dividends? I want to be receiving all my dividends in my bank account.

Thanks.

Not surprised with a hefty 5.8trn 3rd quarter offer programme. I expect yields will continue to inch up through the programme. It also probably explains why Naira reversed its recent appreciation against the greenback wink
I'm suspecting we might see gradual increase in yields especially for the 364day tenure

It should continue. Funny enough the same excuses Messi fans were making in 2016 to 2020 to defend Messi is the same one being used by Ronaldo fans now. What's good for the baby goat is good for the sheep.
They should keep it up.
