Coconut Oil Can Reduce Appetite, Making You Eat Less Without Trying.

“Weight loss is all about calories in, calories out.”
Even though I think this is a drastic oversimplification, it is mostly true.
If your body expends more energy (calories) than
it takes in, then you will lose fat.
But even though it is true that we need to be in a
calorie deficit to lose weight, it doesn’t mean that
calories are something that we need to count or
be consciously aware of.
Humans are very capable of remaining lean and
healthy in their natural environment. The obesity
epidemic didn’t start until 1980 and we didn’t
even know what a calorie was back in the day.

Anything that reduces our appetite can make us
take in fewer calories without having to think
about it. It appears that coconut oil has this
effect.
Many studies on medium chain fatty acids show
that, compared to the same amount of calories
from other fats, they increase feelings of fullness
and lead to an automatic reduction in calorie
intake.
This may be related to the way these fats are
metabolized. It is well known that ketone bodies
(which the liver produces when you eat coconut
oil) can have a powerful appetite reducing effect

Whatever the mechanism is, it works. In one
study of 6 healthy men, eating a high amount of
MCTs (found in coconut oil) caused them to automatically eat 256 fewer calories per day .
In another study of 14 healthy men, those who
took 2 teaspoon of Coconut oil at breakfast ate significantly fewer calories at lunch.

So… coconut oil boosts fat burning (increases
“calories out”) and it also reduces the appetite
(reduces “calories in”)

My Elder Sister has been engaged to this man for about 5 years now and then people have been complaining about their long term relationship. Even my mum at some point embrassrased the him when he comes looking for my sister, he promised her marriage but has not done anything about it since then.

when I asked my sister she said he is saving and planning towards their marriage but this same man has been living with his friend in a room since I knew him even though he has been working since I knew.
At some point becos of age (32) was no longer at my elder sisters side , my mum decided to give them one of her flats to leave in her 2 storey building house. my elder sister and my mum ultimately financed the wedding preparation even to the point of buying his own cloths for his own wedding and while her fiance's brother supported him with 250k for the wedding since he just lost his job last December.

Now what baffles me is that my sister appears to be the man while he is the woman in their relationship since I knew then, although I have always adviced my sister to be submissive to him and stop shouting and controlling her fiance. I noticed so many faults in him like not standing up to my sister to prove to her his the man in their relationship which is clear to everyone.

Now just three days to their traditional marriage I was discussing with him and he was bad mouthing my elder sister to me and he later told me "not to tell my elder sister ooo". I pretended to take what he was saying as a joke but deep in my heart, I feel my elder sister is about to marry a man she barely even knows.

pls whats your I opinion about this?

pls be strong and trust God to be a better father to you. I lost my father at just 12 years and it made my mum and siblings stronger and see the world in a more different light cos all the betrayers were exposed. but the Lord took over catering and caring for us . Now we are adults and graduates and married. so pls let the Lord Console and comfort you in Jesus Amen
