Chram: Whoever has taught in Private schools before would understand that the salaries they pay, when compared with the economic challenges and realities, do not commensurate the teachers' efforts. It is consequent upon this that Private home lessons became necessary to augment one's derisory salary.
Based on the experiences I have had, if you're in a good environment where you teach in a private school that has children from a well-to-do background, you're sure of getting something substantial because these parents don't like to owe sch fees. In fact, some pay before resumption. If you have to teach three students from three different parents, I'm sure you'll earn something good for yourself. But the challenge is, same parents would go tell the sch how much you're being paid or about to be paid. They will complain that what you're charging is too much. A parent said why would she pay that kind of money for just lesson of Three times a week after paying huge sums as sch fees. Because of this, they tend not to pay much especially when same private lesson teacher is a staff/teacher in the sch your child attends. It is also difficult for parents to engage the services of a random teacher who can't be traced to any sch. We all know some private lesson teachers have no school they teach per se
Here's the challenge I had as a private lesson tutor: I had a parent who engaged my services to be teaching her two children on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We agreed on the amount to be paid by month end. And she was willing to be paying me a thousand Naira for transport each time I went. But when I started, she wasn't consistent in giving me the transport fare. This is how I do my private home lessons, aside from the subjects we agreed on, whenever it is time for School test and exams, I usually do a revision on all the subjects these children are being taught in their respective schools so that they can have a better result than when I came in to start the lesson with them.
In the first month, she delayed my payment for two weeks. I didn't ask her or reminded her about my payment, I wanted to see how much premium she placed on this lesson. The second month, she repeated same thing. She even owed for two months. Sometimes, I will get to the gate, stay out for over 30mins and be knocking and nobody will come out to open the gate. I called, texted and sent messages reminding her that I needed my money but no response. During this period, I became even extra motivated to work as her children were encouraging me based on their readiness to learn. When she finally paid me, I stopped immediately. She called and called but I never picked. She called my Boss to plead with me to return, but I said NO. I know my worth.
I think people need to be corrected on the public perception of teachers. They are being looked down on and it's unfair. If you're that parent who disregards your children's teachers, you had better repent now before God gets angry.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was mocked, insulted, and attacked. But his response? Patience. Forgiveness. Mercy. And today, billions follow him.
So when someone says you’re being “too soft” or “letting people walk over you” remember:
> “No one is given a gift better and more comprehensive than patience.” (Hadith – Bukhari & Muslim)
When you choose sabr, you choose Allah. And those who choose Allah will never be losers — not in this world, and certainly not in the Hereafter.
> “Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without measure.” (Surah Az-Zumar 39:10)
You may be silent now, but Allah is writing your reward. You may feel hurt, but Jannah is being decorated for you. You may be called a fool by people but you are beloved to Ar-Rahman.
So don’t let anyone shame you for taking the higher road. It’s not easy but it leads to Paradise.
May Allah make us among the people of patience, and reward us with what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart has ever imagined. Ameen.

A Correctional Service Staff ABDULLAHI NURA , Chief Correctional Assistant (CCA) Serving with medium Security Custodial Center Gusau has attempted to commit suicide at the largest and deepest Gusau Dam located in the metropolis of Zamfara State, at the early hours of today Wednesday 11th June,2025.
Report says, Abdullahi Nura reported to his station before hiring a bike man that took him to the scene of the incident, on dropping, he suddenly jumped in to the Dam to kill himself for a reason Best known to him.
The report added that, while the motorcyclist alerted Staff and security guards of the Dam site, the Correctional service Staff was rescued.
It stated that the rescue team discovered him in service uniform, alongside his service ID card, and informed the Nigerian Correctional Service State headquarters for their quick response and intervention.
In a quick response, The State Correctional Controller CCS Musa Tanko, dispatched a team of staff that took him to MSCC medical clinic in Gusau, where he is currently responding to medical attention.
The report further indicates that he is under medical treatment at the moment and he is getting better as he has since regained his consciousness.

Why do I generalized it? En thats how you also generalize it when 1 or 2 naija women run you down now. And I am even doing it better now because I have how many women? 1 (mum), 234 (3GW: my sisters), 5 (my additional sister: sister-in-law), and then my soulmate (this one will take any number she pleases😁).
I am a grown man now (38 years old), and I have been a beloved son for all my years. My mum has all the way been the normal (I hope it is actually normal to be) loving, caring, disciplined, selfless, and responsible mother. She can never be taken for granted and her place is locked and irreplaceable in my heart.
My sisters, the 3GW, as I call them when referring to to the 3 of them, are unque women that have got my back since day one. They remain people and places I can always go to, and always be welcomed. We are all 5, I gallanty hold position 4, the 3 sisters hold positions 1, 2, and 3, and then my kid bro (the last kick😁). Now, 3GW actually means "three good witches". I just know you want it, so let me briefly give you the gist. So wayback when we were young (just entered jss1 in a boys only secondary school then), I told my parents and sisters about a older boy and senior who bullys me in the new school. We all know him because he is also a member of our church, and I think my mum talk about the issue with his parents, but he never really stopped, and sometimes even instigate his colleagues to bully me at school and I keep bringing the stories home, particularly to my sisters. So, on that day of his undoing were in church and he did somehow towards me. Just from nowhere, sister 3 has jumped on him and before I could even moved sister 1 and 2 have joined 3 and all I had to do was to watch how dude was fatally finished. When the beating was finally stopped, the only thing I could him muttering repeatedly was "witches, witches, witches", while my sisters laugh in full fun. So since that day I call them witches (they tried to stop that) and later good witches, and the acronyms 3GW that was finally accepted😁.
My brother's wife is the only in-law I have from a different tribe. She is great! This sister have brought absolute support, comfort and peace to my brother's life. She respect and regard me, my sisters, and parents and no one takes her for granted too. She is the last addition, but she was the one that created the family group including 5 of us and our spouses, which has been much interesting, engaging and beneficial than our siblings group. What I love most about her is her ability to bond with my wife whos really not a friend keeper. This kinda align with the bond between me and my brother.I can't ask for a better additional sister jor!

I married at the age of 22, became a grandfather at 46+ today I am so happy because one of my grandchildren is already in the Uni at age 17 and my last born is serving (NYSC) already. Life in the 80s was fun, more habitable and cheaper, unlike the new World of today.
