DyshApp: A Nigerian man has reportedly called off his marriage just three days before the ceremony after discovering that his fiancée lied to him about her whereabouts.
This was revealed in a post shared on a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), by user @Choji_ES.
According to the post, the man spotted his fiancée at the market and decided to call her phone. When he asked where she was, she claimed to be at home.
Upset by the dishonesty, the man allegedly canceled their upcoming wedding, stating that he couldn’t marry someone who lies.

TheFreshVanilla: In the presence of law and common sense, where is the miracle in this story?
Hehehe I think say to wear NYSC uniform take photo mean say life don dey set be that
Kingdavid579: Hello everyone, hope you’re all doing well.
I have a serious question regarding the NYSC for a 27-year-old Nigerian graduate who’s also a self-employed businessman. This young man actually financed his entire education through his business, which means his livelihood and future depend heavily on its continued growth and stability. Now, the prospect of leaving this business to serve in the NYSC feels like a huge disruption—not only personally but also financially.
With the current state of Nigeria’s economy, where entrepreneurship and small business growth are highly encouraged as vital drivers for development, stepping away from his business at this crucial time could be disastrous for him. It might slow down or even halt the progress he’s made so far.
So here’s the main question: is there a legal and official way for him to obtain an NYSC exemption letter without having to change or modify his age on his NIN? He wants to be fully compliant with the law and avoid any complications, but also wants to protect his business and future.
If anyone has experience with this or knows the official procedure, please share your advice or insights. It would really help clarify the situation.

Glimpsetv: 68-Year-Old American Woman Shares Her Love Journey With 25-Year-Old Nigerian Lover
A 68-year-old American woman and her 25-year-old Nigerian lover have shared their love journey in a now-viral video. According to them, she is 43 years older than her partner.
Explaining how they met, the couple revealed that their relationship began on Facebook. The Nigerian man had liked a post the American woman shared, and from there, their communication began.
Speaking about the experience, she said, “He went from somebody that liked my post to my very best friend; it just kept getting stronger and stronger. I woke up one day wanting to go to Nigeria; I woke up from a dream, and all I wanted was to go to Nigeria. So, I told my sister, and she said, ‘Oh, you're crazy. Why do you want to go to Nigeria?’ And I said, ‘I don't know.’ I was having trouble figuring out how to get a visa, and he offered to do it for me.”
The Nigerian lover then explained, “I went to immigration and paid for her visa, which is $350, and booked her flight ticket. Then she came.”
The joyful American woman added, “When he showed up at the airport to get me, he was like, ‘Oh my God, you are real! You are really here! This is not a scam!’ We got to the motel room, then three days later, he proposed to me.”
Reacting to the video, Nigerians expressed mixed opinions. Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments.
