With the recent run of bad games, reports are pouring in that Chelsea are already looking to replace their coach Frank Lampard if their bad runs don't stop.

Despite spending £200m on transfer before the season, Chelsea was expected to be a big force in the Premier League this season considering the number of star players they have in the team. Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic, N'Golo Kante, Hakim Ziyech all available for Frank Lampard but it is Surprising the London side already lost five Premier League games so far this season.

Though United was fantastic during the game, they just couldn't get the goals and Pep Guardiola had a well-structured plan to beat them. Manchester City went in front in the 50th minute through John Stones who got his first goal since 2017 and also doubled their lead in the 83rd through Fernandinho.

Losing the match means United won't get the opportunity to face Tottenham at Wembley and their fantastic run of seven games unbeaten is over. Speaking with MUTV after the game, Paul Pogba feels there is a need for the team to be disappointed as it is not the first time they are losing to City at home.

Spurs secured a place in the final thanks to goals from Moussa Sissoko and Heung-min Son in an entertaining encounter at the Tottenham stadium. However, the highlight of the night was Josh Dasilva's tackle on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the closing minutes of the cup tie.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was left with a broken Shin-pad and bloody leg. Josh Dasilva was later red-carded by referee Mike Dean following a check on VAR. Mourinho responded by replacing the Denmark international with Japhet Tanganga.
