Wickedtruths:Igbos still love GEJ. But Obidients, who are made up of millions of Nigerians, know that PO will deliver a better Nigeria. We obviously cannot forget that Yorubas labelled GEJ the ineffectual buffoon, and labelled his wife Shepopotamus. I can also bet that Yorubas will not be voting for GEJ in 2027. This is guaranteed. Having stated the above, GEJ should not run, as he expects his support base to come from exactly where Obi's support base will come. GEJ's main support bases are SE and SS. But already, these two camps are already in the bag for PO, so GEJ now wanting to get into the fray at this late stage could be seen as him trying to sabotage Obi. With the state of play, PO has a massive advantage, as he has been in the public consciousness over the past few years, and his clean image will be hard to dislodge by GEJ. |
PulaPower:When did Igbos ever say that GEJ was not corrupt. GEj is corrupt, but not to the level Yorubas were painting him in the 2023/2025 election season. Yorubas even labelled GEJ an Ineffectual buffoon, all in their attempt to curry favour from their northern masters. It was Igbos that stood with GEJ, because we knew he was being unfairly labelled and attacked by Yorubas, who were jealous of the fact that a SSner was the president. A Yoruba man by the name of Wole Soyinka even labelled GEJ's wife Shepopotamus. Igbos admit that GEJ had his faults, but we knew he understood the economy better than Buhari and Tinubu. But as of today, Igbos and the Obidients movement made up of millions of Nigerian, don't just want a better economy. They want a better nation, which includes reduced corruption, reduced cost of governance, a much better economy, movement from consumption to production. The only candidate who can proffer solutions to the above points, is Peter Obi. He will deliver a better Nigeria than GEJ can ever do. Let us not even forget that Bayelsa did not vote for PO, even though PO's state gave GEJ 95%+ in the presidential election, so GEJ should not think we are unaware that his state did not support PO. Let him not make it even worse, by now trying to run against the only Igbo man with a chance of bringing in positive change into the political system of Nigeria. |
Wickedtruths:Nobody is insulting GEJ. If GEJ stands in the way of PO, then GEJ is the one causing any negative feedback he is getting. PO employs tens of Phd holders. PO was a chairman of a bank, something that GEj was not qualified to do. PO has several multi million dollar businesses and investments with no infusion of corruptly-gotten finance. No doubt, GEJ is better than Tinubu and Buhari put together. But PO is far better than GEJ. PO is exactly what Nigeria needs at the moment, and if GEJ wants to scuttle the aspiration of Nigerians, then he will be deserving of any negative blows that come his way. He ought to be supporting PO right now, after all when GEJ was the president, PO supported him. PO did not try to destroy GEJ's chances by opting to run against GEJ or prop up another candidate to reduce GEJ's chances. Nigerians no longer are interested in Sunday-Sunday politicians who only show up when elections are around the corner. Nigerians now want politicians who are constantly there with them, just the same way PO has been, over the past 3 years. As I wrote earlier on, GEJ will loose woefully and will loose a great deal of respect that he had. This is PO's moment, he should support the aspiration of Nigerians, and not make himself a willing tool in the hands of those that want to destroy Nigeria, because of his selfish ambition. |
PulaPower:Compared to PO, GEJ is corrupt. Compared to Buhari or Tinubu, GEJ is better. Both individuals are definitely more corrupt than GEJ. Compared to Rochas Okorocha, GEJ is less corrupt. Presently, no politician dead or alive in Nigeria, is less corrupt than PO. So your ethnic baiting will not work. Remember that Obi did not win Bayelsa, yet he clearly won that election, while GEJ won all the 5 SE and 6 SS states in the 2015 election. Even if GEJ decides to run, the only state he may win is Bayelsa, as PO will win every other SE and SS state. Over the past 3 years, PO has created a brand for himself, which GEJ will not be able to match GEJ will never ever in his life, be able to prove that he is less corrupt than Obi GEJ will never be able to convince anyone that he will do away with the office of the first lady GEJ will never be able to show he can reduce the cost of governance GEJ will never be able to show that he was more successful as a private citizen b3fore he joined politics the way Obi can. GEJ does not have cult followership the way Obi does. GEJ abandoned Nigerians in he hands of ruthless Buhari and Tinubu, while Obi emerged to give hope to millions of citizens over the past few years |
PO is the man of the moment. Gej has done his time, moreover he allowed corruption and his wife to ruin his regime. Obi will not allow his wife to be dictating who gets what position like GEJ did. Obi will also drastically reduce the cost of governance. Something that GEJ will never do |
OkayDaddy:Lagos is the capital of kidnapping in Nigeria. Also bigotry is unchallenged in Lagos. No sane business man ought to consider Lagos. I will advice any prospective investor to only consider Abuja, or perhaps the SE ![]() |
Brenbentondiaz:Yes he should come to Anambra with the biggest market in West Africa, and the offloading point for about 60% of containers entering into Nigeria. This is a place filled with expert business men, and where the government will not victimize the Chinese for political reasons. |
kedeojo:That's what you all said in 2023, and yet PO won, according to Nasir Elrufai. He is obviously aware of certain information that will corroborate his statement |
Bananaman010 There is a great deal of bigotry in Lagos state. The government in Lagos destroys the properties of businesses they feel are owned by their political opponents. And Lagos state practices incredible bigotry. If they deem your people successful, they will make up a false allegation against your people, to justify destroying your businesses, so be warned. |
kedeojo:Jonathan needs Igbo support to be competitive. The 5 SE states, and up to 25% of votes in Lagos and Abuja and Delta and Rivers, is what GEJ cannot do without. Peter Obi remains the favourite, as he will do well in states like Adamawa, Kaduna, Taraba, Benue, Plateau and Cross River states, along with the aforementioned states. Eventually also, it will come to the fore that GEJ was the person that handed over Nigeria to the people that destroyed it. Buhari and Tinubu have destroyed Nigeria, and it was GEJ that hnded over the country to these destroyers. Peter Obi will never hand over to destroyers. And finally, if Peter Obi runs, it will definitely guarantee that GEJ will not win. Additionally it will ensure that Igbos don't return into PDP, which is what PDP chieftains seriouisly need, as they know Igbos and the SS were the major backbone of PDP when PDP led the nation. It will be impossible to convince the Igbos to ever support PDP again, a party they wholeheartedly supported from 1999 to 2022, without being considered when the top job ought to have been zoned to them. This will cause PDP's perpetual decline. |
kingbee90:For Jonathan to defeat Tinubu, PO should not be in the race, and has to publicly support GEJ.. But PO has already promised that he will be in the 2027 presidential race. This drastically reduces the chance of GEJ winning. PO has been the one in Nigerian's faces over the past 4 years, and his cult followership are 100% dedicated to the idea of an Obi presidency. GEJ's only chance is for PO to drop out of the race. |
Walai:Of course, I understand the law doesn't affect Jonathan. But you are dealing with a government where the judiciary declares that black is white. In spite of the constitutional breach in Shettima running for two different roles simultaneously, the courts still declared him eligible. Despite the constitutional provision that any president should also get up to 25% of votes in Abuja, Tinubu who never got those percentages still managed to corrupt the courts to rule in his favour. Nigerian institutions have been severely corruped by both Buhari and Tinubu, so I can assure you Tinubu will activate one wuruwuru or the other to hurt Jonathan with this legislation. And Jonathan doesn't have the massive and fanatical following that PO has, so it will be very difficult for the people to go out to defend GEJ when this wuruwuru starts. Personally I don't mind Jonathan getting the presidency, as I expect him to be hundreds of times better than Tinubu. I expect PO to be as good as GEJ when it comes to managing the nation. PO will also give Nigeria two extra advantages, as he is in a better position to deal with corruption, and he will additionally drastically reduce the cost of governance. These two extras give PO the advantage. But I don't mind GEJ. Instead of Tinubu to continue, let GEJ take over. |
If gej runs, Tinubu will exploit this constitutional point. Tinubu controls the judiciary, so it will be a huge mistake for PDP to adopt GEJ |
Ikaeniyan0:60% of containers that berth in Lagos, head to the SE. I am even certain the majority of the remaining 40% are owned by SEners that operate in the SW. That tells you the SE has huge potential. When PO takes over, he will bring in policies that will release the economic potentials of the SE and SS, to address some of these issues. There is a reason Igbos are seen as one of the top 4 most enterprising ethnic groups in the world. A great deal of the economic successes in SW states are driven by Igbo anyway. Take this and cool down ![]() |
stuffs2002:There have been 2 sw and 2 nw presidents since 1999. What do you expect? When PO emerges, he will help liberate the SE and SS from the economic shackles placed on them by Fulani and Yoruba presidents. And BTW, about 60% of containers that land in Lagos are bound for the SE, so go figure |
iamjavadem:Tinubu and his Lagos boys are gradually destroying the business reputation of Lagos. Lagos has taken a nosedive in Tinubu's presidency, and you don't seem to be able to see the underlying reason |
Ikaeniyan0:Mrs Muoghalu was right on the money. Peter Obi's younger brother is currently regretting investing in Lagos. One of his business buildings was demolished in Laos for nothing. Every sensible Igbo business man should take her advice. Foreign investors are even taking her advice which is why Abuja has overtaken Lagos |
WorldRichest:I am crying well we'll for Lqgos. When a president that will give a proper go-ahead for SE seaports take over, that's when you will feel the damage even more. More than 60% of containers that land in Lagos head to the SE. SE seaports will grab all these business |
raskymonojendor:The funny thing is that Igbos dominate in the shipping business in that same Lagos. And apparently more than half of the containers that arrive in Lagos get forwarded to the SE. What this means is that proper sea ports in the SE like in Obuaku in Abia State and Oseakwa in Anambra state will be hugely successful. Hopefully when PO assumes the presidency, he will grant the necessary waivers and licences to authorise the construction of SE seaports so as to really open up the SE economy |
Xenophobia in Lagos is beginning to yield fruits. There is no reason Abuja should be ahead of Lagos, especially as Lagos is the commercial/financial capital of Nigeria. The last two years of Tinubu's administration is beginning to gradually destroy the economic attraction and potentials of Lagos |
aribisala0:Is Abure a Yoruba man? Yes or No Is Joe Igbokwe a Yoruba man? Yes or No Once you answer the two questions above, it will helpt to shed light on what I am saying regarding this Agbado-sponsored Igbo meeting where English is the official language of the meeting |
aribisala0:Time did not begin with this concocted Agbado-sponsored video. I have to also talk about other episodes that Agbados are involved in. Agbados are involved in the fake bishop episode that was heavily used by Tinubu Agbados are involved in the JAMB fiasco that was engineered to destroy Igbo youths. Thank God this wicked plan was discovered. Agbados are also involved in this fake Igbo Obidient meeting. |
aribisala0:I am saying that this is not the first time Yorubas have attempted to create a false narrative about the Igbos, in other to fool the general public. Just a few months ago, you saw how this Yoruba government and the Yoruba administrators of JAMB tried to ruin the educational futures of mainly Igbo kids We saw how a Yoruba candidate in the 2023 elections brought in fake bishops to masquerade as real bishops This concocted meeting is yet another Yoruba attempt to give the impression that in an Igbo meeting, Igbos recorded the meeting in English and made it available to the public, so that the unsuspecting public will think that this is an authentic Igbo meeting |
helinues:Abure doesn't have Yoruba accent, yet he is working for Agbado purposes. Tinubu can pay off anyone to carry bout anything. Igbo people having a tribalism meeting in English and leaking their meeting to the world to listen to. You could have fooled me. That Yoruba format don cast. Awolowo did it with Nzeogwu and co Just a few days ago, a faceless Igbo group offered to purchase Tinubu's presidential form, to give the impression Igbos are in support of Tinubu. Now we have a dodgy Igbo obidient meeting stylishly working for Tinubu by trying to portray Igbos as tribalistic and mean towards other Nigerians by holding a supposed Igbo meeting in English and leaking the recordings. Some weeks ago Tinubu's government played a significant part in an attempt to destroy the educational future of Igbo kids by destroying the JAMB prospects of mainly Igbo kids. Tinubu's style of ethnic politics have worn thin. Obi is untouched. Tinubu is further exposed. This is a so-called Nigerian president playing tribal politics to set Igbos up. Igboid Pazienza |
Factcheck0001:I am Igbo. How come I am not spilling evil about other tribes. All these your arrangee Igbos. No traction whatsoever. People trust PO and no number of your arrangee Igbos can alter that. It will not affect PO's support base |
Factcheck0001:Igbo obidients holding a meeting in English, for whose benefit? Another arrangement meeting by Tinubu's people |
Typical Yoruba moves. We have seen this format several times. It's now very stale. This latest attempt won't hurt Obi one bit And by the way, why are so called Igbo Obidients speaking English in a meeting they could just be speaking Igbo in? Obviously an arrangee meeting by Tinubu's people |
Putindbutt:GEJ was the acting president, when Yaradua was seriously ill and possibly in coma. However, once Yaradua died, GEJ was immediately sworn in as a full fledged president, and he served roughly one year before the 2011 election which he won, and was sworn in again. GEJ has already been sworn in two times. |
kedeojo:Tinubu will no longer be able to get away with rigging. No one will be willing to go to court now. Tinubu's presidency ends in 2027. Let us see his agbado foot soldiers attempt to pacify northern and SE,SS youths when he tries to rig with INEC. |
