I don't believe Igbos founded Ile-Ife Yorubas are different, look different, act different, and have cultural practices that do not suggest they have the same root as Igbo culture. We have much older art works, and Yorubas are generally darker in complexion than the Igbos, so it will take a huge explaining effort to explain this anomaly away |
BluntCrazeMan:How are we sure this is not a system created by Tinubu and APC to confuse issues? On the day of the election the system will "'develop a glitch', thus stranding voters and preventing people from knowing the real vote counts while Tinubu rigs with INEC. I will be more comfortable with a system created by, or approved of by the official Obidient Movement or Peter Obi himself. |
MoneyMan5:You seem not to understand what you read. In my second to the last paragraph in my previous message, I clearly brought up the case of the Yoruba girl. I clearly made mention of the fact that the Yoruba press seems to have ignored the fact that Igbos were disproportionately affected even in Lagos, where Igbos are not the majority. Please next time, try and read everything written by me, before you reply. I don't like repeating myself. Why did the Lagos glitch happen in FESTAC and AMUWO ODOFIN, areas with very large Igbo population? Why did the Lagos glitch disproportionately affect Igbos in Lagos? Once you are done with the above question, please answer this How come outside Lagos, this glitch only affected the 5 Southeastern states, and avoided every Yoruba state? |
MoneyMan5:Let us even concentrate on the Lagos angle. It affected more Igbos in Lagos than Yorubas in Lagos. This fraud concentrated on areas where Igbos are very huge in population in Lagos. Everyone knows that FESTAC and Amuwo Odofin have heavy Igbo presence, and this fraud concentrated in such Igbo-dominated areas. I have not even brought in the other damning evidence of this fraud being targeted at SE states. I have only just concentrated in Lagos. I also have not mentioned the fact that this wicked fraud that concentrated on Igbo-dominated areas in Lagos, seem to have ignored areas in Lagos where Yorubas predominantly dominate nor in any other Yoruba state. Another major question is how come this happened when Yoruba people are the president, minister of Education, Head of Jamb, Head of the IT department of Jamb, and DG of DSS Of course the Yoruba press will like to concentrate on a Yoruba youth that was affected, which is why you now have an article you can refer me to, in an attempt to confuse matters I know when the dust settles, it will be noticed that for every Yoruba affected, up to 10 Igbos were affected. Just wait and see |
MoneyMan5:Yes, the education minister that provided the verbal cover by Insinuating that the JAMB system was not faulty, was also an Igbo man. Thank God that determined Igbos exposed the wickedness that theYoruba minister and the Yoruba-led JAMB concocted against Igbo kids |
opera1:The north that voted for Tinubu in 2023 won't be voting for him in 2027. Tinubus refusal to implement proper development in 5he SE will definitely result in his electoral loss in 2027 as igbos also influence Abuja voting pattern, along with SE votes |
MoneyMan5:Rema is an Igbanke son in Edo state. Igbankes claim to be Ika-Igbos, after all they speak Igbo and practice Igbo culture. |
MoneyMan5:From your analysis above, we should also conclude that Hausas are richer than Yorubas because the first and second richest Nigerians are Hausas. Why do you think Yorubas plotted to destroy the educational future of Igbo kids in the just-concluded JAMB exercise? Simple answer, to keep the Igbos down and hopefully destroy Igbos. |
sreamsense:First of all, there are more muslims in Abuja than Christians. But Igbo votes are always significant in Abuja. That is why Abuja always votes the parties that Igbos vote for. Abuja used to vote for PDP in presidential elections, except in 2023 when Igbos switched over to LP. All of a sudden LP won Abuja during the presidential elections Second of all, APGA was a party that Anambra people adopted as the party to govern Anambra state. When it comes to national matters, Igbos mainly supported PDP. Once Igbos quit supporting PDP in 2023, PDP did not even get up to 25% of the votes, as it was used to. |
MoneyMan5:You misunderstand my point. Igbo presence in Lagos state constantly assured the PDP of more than 25% of votes in every presidential election cycle. However in 2023 when Igbos switched off from PDP, the party did not even get close to 25% of the Lagos votes. This instance says a lot. |
MoneyMan5:I think you are even misunderstanding my point. Of course, Yorubas overwhelmingly voted for Peter Obi in Lagos. In fact I am certain that more than 50% of Yorubas in Lagos voted for PO which was why PO got over a million votes in Lagos. Forget about the drastically cut-down numbers that INEC keeps bandying about. Bola Tinubu apparently got less than 150,000 votes in Lagos, and this could have never have happened without the support of Yoruba voters in Lagos. My point is that igbos have a significant number of voters in Lagos and Abuja to the extent that Igbos can comfortably give a candidate more than 25% of votes in Lagos and more than 30 of votes in Abuja |
MoneyMan5:Rema and CKay are Igbos and have had their fair share of success. |
MoneyMan5:Nwokem UNICEF just revealed that Igbo literacy is higher than Yoruba literacy and you are here yarning. There is a reason why Igbos are the most successful African group. It starts with literacy. Please go and argue WITH UNICEF. Leave Igbos alone |
sreamsense:Forget all these concocted population figures. Igbos are more in population than Yorubas. Igbos can influence the voting figures in non-Igbo areas like Abuja, Lagos. And of course influence the voting patterns in Delta and Rivers states. Yorubas can only influence the voting patterns in Yoruba states. Now coming back to education, Igbos are highest and male education has consistently improved starting from Peter Obi's regime that began to encourage increased male Involvement in education. |
ActressAbimbola:Tinubu's Ohahaeze don talk am. |
WizardOfNG:Code 666 has already been claimed by the SW |
richmond500:And so it should be. Obi should work for everyone including Tinubu |
RingRoadMafia:Obviously an Agbado mind game. No one has ever heard of him |
UpaIweka:Oh you think I have forgotten Adeyinka Grandson who also threatened to kill Igbo women and chosen in Yorubaland. But Tinubu's government didn't just threaten. They carried out their evil act to destroy Igbo youths. That episode is already recorded in history, and can never be unrecorded |
Factcheck0001:Yorubas of course. Unfortunately for them, this time around one or two Igbo individuals insisted on investigating the system. That was why the JAMB fraud came to light |
After this government of Bola Tinubu was caught red-handed trying to destroy the educational futures of Igbo children by compromising the JAMB system to mutilate the actual JAMB scores of Igbo children in all the 5 SE states, and mainly Igbo kids in Lagos. You could have fooled me. Tinubu and his normal anti-Igbo propaganda has passed its sell-by date |
The same Amaechi that didn't construct any rail in the entire SE. His nomination is dead on arrival. Buhari is not respected by Obidients anyway, so his suggestions are not rated |
masterfactor:That exactly why PO will run in 2027. Tinubu will definitely be retired |
Whiteshield:Tinubu will not get northern votes this time around. This practically increases the value of SE votes, but he still won't get SE votes. Tinubu will also not get Abuja because he doesn't have Igbo support |
richie240:The fact that he oversaw the intentional victimisation of Igbo youths in Lagos and the 5 southeastern states will never be forgotten. He must pay for it |
Unfortunately for this Arewa man, the kids whose educational prospects are undermined are not Arewa children. They are Igbo kids and Arewa organizations don't speak for Ndigbo. Only Igbos have locus standi on this issue and the international community will only be interested in the opinions of Igbo bodies |
eagleu:The article states as follows Recently, the Prof Oloyede-led Board replaced Fabian Okoro with Mrs F.F. B-Usman as the Director IT Services. The appointment caused rancour in the ranks of the Board, too. Many viewed it as nepotistic because Mrs Usman and Prof Oloyede are both tribespeople and of the same religious faith. But, of course, Oloyede cares less, not when he’s already seen as a tribal and religious bigot. Mrs Bunmi Usman would go on to oversee a tactical sabotage against JAMB candidates who hailed from the South East extraction. |
seanfer:Read the snippet below. He covered that angle Recently, the Prof Oloyede-led Board replaced Fabian Okoro with Mrs F.F. B-Usman as the Directuor IT Services. *OBIASOGU DAVID* *15th May 2025* *How Buhari Re-Appointed Prof Oloyede as JAMB Registrar to Deny An Igbo Man The Chance!* The unmasking of the tactical sabotage against JAMB candidates from the South East may be the smoke that pulled its sin-vault, but JAMB has been a bundle of atrocities since 2016. As the saying goes, “Nigeria is a weapon fashioned against itself and its people.” The deliberate corrupt practices of those in positions of authority directly inflict deep-wound injuries in the soul and unity of Nigeria. This includes the nepotism in JAMB. On the 20th of August, 2021, a crass abuse of office and grand corruption happened in JAMB, and the incident was pressed to quietness. Prof Ishaq Oloyede had completed his 5-year tenure as JAMB Registrar and was headed for a compulsory exit. On August 2nd, 2021, a handover ceremony held. He formally handed over to the then Director, Information Technology Services, *Dr. Fabian O. Okoro*, who was the most senior management staff of JAMB. The staff of the board had sent him farewell wishes, and everyone moved on. But in an abrupt twist, about two weeks later, an absurd permutation recalibrated the system, and Prof Oloyede was sneaked back into office. Bubari dismissed Dr Fabian Okoro and brought back Prof Oloyede, a man who had served for 5 years and didn’t record good success. Prof Oloyede’s return was said to have been orchestrated by his ally and fellow radical Muslim faithful, Adamu Adamu, former Minister for Education. Buhari didn’t hesitate to approve learning that Prof Oloyede is a devout Muslim and Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence. The appointment letter dropped on August 19th, secretly and unscrupulously. The move caused disaffection in the ranks of JAMB leadership and it was a matter of time before the cracks began to show. Allegations of wanton corruption, reckless abuse of office, and nepotism surged. Some of such allegations came from Mr Yisa Usman, the then Deputy Director of JAMB. Recently, he exposed how Prof Oloyede oversaw a history of corruption and abuse of office, especially in his illicit second term. Of course, Mr Usman was punished for revealing the truth. Prof Oloyede sacked him. Dr Fabian Okoro was demoted and redeployed to the IT Services unit of JAMB and has remained without promotion. Recently, the Prof Oloyede-led Board replaced Fabian Okoro with Mrs F.F. JAMB IT services, which she managed, failed to function for centres only in the South East, in such a fashion that smelt dubious and calculated wreck. It has become obvious that Prof Oloyede’s uncustomary return as JAMB Registrar, after his tenure expired and he bowed out, was a staged stunt born out of nepotism and deep-end corruption, the vices that reflect Nigeria’s nature. And refusing Fabian Okoro, an Igbo man, the opportunity of rightful promotion bares the depth of injustice against the Igbo tribe. |
