Nigeria's act of parliament bars Jonathan from seeking office.

Buhari, in his attempt to cage Jonathan encouraged the Parliament to enact a law barring anyone who has been sworn in on two occasions from seeking the presidency.

As Jonathan had already been sworn in on two occasions, he can no longer go for a second term.
He was sworn in, when Yaradua died.
He was also sworn in when he worn the 2011 election.

I doubt whether Tinubu will ask the parliament to change that law, as he wouldn't want to give a look-in to a potential rival that may deny him his 2027 dreams.

Even if Jonathan were to even run, that will mean that Peter Obi, Tinubu and GEJ will have to slug it out.

The Obidient family is way to numerous to be an underdog in such a race, and Peter Obi is more likely than the other two to drastically reduce corruption in Nigeria. Peter Obi will definitely have an advantage.

Moreover it was GEJ that handed over Nigeria to those who destroyed Nigeria, starting from Buhari to Tinubu.. All these will come to play.

Please bear in mind the Yorubas who are churning out these anti Igbo policies including the.JAMB glitch that targeted Igbo kids are not all from Lagos. Most of them are even from other Yoruba states including the current governor of Lagos state, so any retaliatory measures doesn't have to be limited to Lagos based entities.

The Olukumi issue also has to be brought to the table. Igbos must assert their ownership of Olukumi migrants settlements

If PDP manages to attract PO Into their party, PO will have a headstart of 10 PDP governors, thus helping him with structures in 10 states, and he will definitely get more than 25% in non-PDP territories like Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Edo, Delta, Cross River, Rivers, Anambra, Imo, Ebonyi, Abia e.t.c.

OBJ was the president when oil was barely up to $15 yet the economy was buoyant.

The oil price during GEJ's period was comparable to oil prices during Buhari and Tinubu's period, yet you guys keep trying to blackmail people by falsely giving the impression that oil was more lucrative during GEJ's era.

Now let me tell you this. Even though there was corruption during GEJ's era, Nigerian economy would have registered a GDP of $1 trillion if GEJ or someone like him had remained in power.
Now if someone like Peter Obi had replaced GEJ in 2019, the GDP would have hit $1.4 trillion. That is a reality that people like Buhari and Tinubu will never be able to give Nigerians.
