Is this for real?

Never try this with starcomms b/c they will cause ur pc to freeze. Buying the router is the less stressful way but it is expensive. Any connection that gives you 25KB and above when downloading is broadband. I know only 4 internet sevice providers in ph that give that kind of speeds and they are ipnx, mtn, starcomms and direct on pc. Instead of buying the 3g router get direct on pc with their desktop modem which costs #26200. When you get it connect it to your ps3 via its ethernet cable and start playing online. Its 21k for their 3 month subscription.

Actually my friend plays online with the mtn pc card. Its broad band and he does not exprience too much lag. He has a hard time voice chating with his bluetooth headset. If you want to use your connection to play online you need a 3G wireless router from mtn which costs 45k. This is a very expensive way share your connection but my friend has no such router, he simple bought an ethernet cable connected it from his ethernet port on his laptop to the ethernet port on his ps3 and switched off the firewall of his local area connection and on his ps3 went to network settings under the settings bar and selected wired connection and gave it an ip address, subnet net mask,default router and dns server. Completed and saved his settings, refeshed his internet connetion on his pc and he could stream media and play online. An ethernet cable costs #250.I am not sure it will work for usb modems.P.S Internet connection sharing should be enabled.The tab for windows xp is automatic but for windows vista wlan should be on.

About 11k if its brand new. 5k if used or not sealed. Soccer and wrestling in most shops cost 13k. But I dont buy any game more than 11k.

The Iphone I got last week has made me hate apple more than anything. My reason is that the iphone lacks so many feature.Eg NO radio NO bluetooth for file transfer NO removable battery NO flash for browsing NO video recording NOt expandable

For windows xp
When you connect the cable, go to ur ps3 and go to ''network settings''.
Choose custom settings and enter an ip address(this must be different from the one on the pc),subnet mask which must be 255.255.255.0 on both ps3 and pc. Default router/gateway should be on the ps3 the ip address of the pc and on the pc the ip address of the ps3.The dns sever should be 10.0.0.0 or any other combination you like.Put automatic to the rest of the things trhere. Save settings but don't test them.

Go to ur pc and go to the control panel and click  ''network connections''.Right click ur 3g connection from starcomms or mtn and click properties. Under the ''general'' tab in the ''This connection uses the following items'' box scrool down to ''internet protocol'' select it and click on properties.Select ''use the following ip address'' and do the same thing you did on the ps3.

Get starcomms izap or mtn 3.5G and use that to play online.
Get one of those ethernet cables and connect it directly from ur pc to ur ps3 or xbox 360.

ANy price below 5k

Is there someone willing to sell me THOSE games at half their price. The games are old titles and there are plenty of used copies abroad.So please I want to buy them.

I discovered this yesterday.

I USED NOKIA pc suite to connect my nokia n73 to my laptop via usb cord.
I went to ''connect to internet'' on pc suite then APN:web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net Username:web Password:web
It connected . But I could not connect to internet. But when I connected to evdo my signal incresed from 2 bars to 4 bars and it hit 5 bars for like 4 sec. before going back to 4 bars.

I am waiting for Resident evil 5 and god of war 3

Starcomms speed is way faster then that.

Starcomms to me is the worst isp in Nigeria.

I use starcomms sierra wireless aircard 580. I pay 15k every month for evdo and get 1x constantly. The highest speed I have ever reached is 9.4KB/s and it never stays there it goes down to 450B/s. I have been using it for a year. I am sure that I would prefer MTN 3.5G to this slow connection.But I use more than 3gig monthly. So I am going for vangage wireless. I am going for it b/c the CEO of the company is my neighbour.
