It pains me alot when people couldn't differentiate between unreasonable excuses & reasonable excuses. For God sake! how could a daily trust newspaper editor publish a military plan on the eve of execution. This is not an excuse, the military should look for another excuse. We all know that, No any newspaper anywhere can be that stupid. If what the military are accusing the daily trust editor is true, then why are they still holding his electronic devices after the plan have already been executed? One day the truth will show up. |
VOTE GEN. BUHARI, THERE WON'T BE FIRST LADY'S OFFICE IN HIS GOVERNMENT

we Nairalanders better be careful before sss will start looking for us one by one lol... |
So, this is a challenge to all the Nairaland members. Make sure u have evidence of all your claims before posting. Long live Nairaland.

Western Nigeria is not seeking Independent from Nigeria. Western Nigeria is already an independent country, which is occupy by Nigeria. Hhhhhhhhhh musiwa u are right. |
This map is showing all the african regions that are seeking for independence, and those who have succeeded. But the Truth is, separatist should please learn the Scottish way. Not using arms and killing innocent citizens. A word is enough for the wise, eastern and northern Nigeria.

Please do any one knows the present contacts of the standard associated examining board (SAEB)? |
don33310]You are most welcome: thanks Bro. |
I certainly appreciate the effort of nairaland members. For their effort in updating us daily with the state of the nation in Nigeria. I have followed many forums, but I will never forget nairaland members for their amazing post, challenging debates, and intelligent augments. Despite the ethno- religious conflicts within the forum. I still appreciate all ur efforts. Thanks. NB: my sincere regards to musiwa, sky-blue, calloti and all of u. Am now back fully on nairaland. |
seun, success is yours God Grace. and likewise all the Nigerian youths both home and abroad who are striving hard to succeed. I pray someday we will all be proud of ourselves. God help Nigeria. |
@kikuyu1, GEJ knows everything. certainly everyone of us know that, the south south want Nigeria to break up. may God help Nigeria. |
amazing, Nigeria should learn from them. because I was realy disappointed with our 2011 presidential debate. it was made in form of individual presidential campaign, rather than been a collective challenge. like in America. |
I was very impress with yesterday's American presidential debate, between Obama and romney. I believed is something the whole world especially Africa should emulate. so let's support presidential debate in Nigeria 2015. what is ur view. |
amazing, sen zanna send bama out of his house for running drugs and beating his children. time for Christians to believed boko haram boys are not Muslims and are not fighting for Islam. the are thugs. |
I have said it several times. we, the present generation. must be careful with the future of this country. we must learn not to accept just any selfish saying from our leaders. u can imaging what is coming out from a very respected intellectualist like achebe. one could imaging what will come out of their political leaders. believe me the last and only hope for this country whether our leaders like it or not are the youths. may God help us. |
well, for those who are not selfish and have Nigeria's unity at heart understand my message. and as for u, I believed u have a personal interest which only u knows best. but let's wait for 2015 and see if PDP is not Nigeria or PDP is Nigeria. but remember am not a member of PDP. and we must try to luv ourselves as Nigerians what so ever. |
@callotti, thanks for telling me the truth. some people will not kill us in Nairaland. may God help naija. |
well I realy appreciate ur argument. but one thing I always advice Nigerians any where am opportune to meet them is, we most stop undermining PDP. we have been saying" PDP is not Nigeria "since 2003. that was what opposition in Egypt thought in the first place. but later realized incumbency is something to be taking much more serious. |
sky blue u' re just beating around the bush. who said anybody assassinate yar'adua? my friend u better go back to my page and concentrate. once again, but for the last time. I said before Jonathan becomes president, Nigeria's unity was appreciative much more than now that situation is critical. simple. well I don't know whether u are a member of the 40 laptops. but I will ask musiwa. |
@Deprofessional, regionalism is not the solution to Nigeria's problem. nigeria's problem is leadership. so even if every region is in control of It's resources. there will still be elections. and that is were the problem lies. it seems u don't longer want to be a citizen of a proud nation called the giant of Africa. the outside world is proud of Nigeria. why shouldn't we try to protect this interest at all cost. I still believed in one Nigeria. if u and I love Nigeria as much as Nigeria loved us, then things will change for the better. may God help us. |
yes! their mission is to break up the giant of Africa. because Nigeria's sudden taking over west Africa is a threat to isreal and America. the believed Nigeria will in the future take over the control of Africa. have u ever wonder why the could not call a spade a spade on this issue of boko haram? |
@sky blue, let me make it clear to u. why 2011 was different, is because the south south were not telling Nigerians the truth about their interest. of wanting to have a Niger delta president even if heaven will fall. but rather the go about telling the citizens, that the north are been selfish. because Jonathan is a Christian that is why the north don't want him. which certainly is a deformation of character to the entire northerners. I want u to consider when Nigeria was predicated to break up by 2015 some years back all Nigerians think it was funny. but now no body longer think is funny. and that is exactly why I told u Nigeria was far better united than this present devilish administration. |
@sky blue, if u look into all my articles. u will know I have nothing to do with PDP. but u and I doesn't have a choice. because for now PDP determined what happens in Nigeria. if u will be sincere, Nigeria's unity was far better in 2007. I always wonder why ur parents use to tell u that the northerners took them as slaves. this is 21st century, how could northerners be so stupid to consider the southerners as slaves? this is only a political propaganda. u people are just judging only the few bad northerners. I have done youth ambassadorship in Nigeria with both ibgo and yoruba. and we all love ourselves. Infact am a member of the world ibgo youth assembly. for this country to move forward, we must learn to reject some of the sayings of our leaders. because must of their sayings are for selfish interest. |
@callotti, diesel for gen again? I thought some people in Nairaland said Nigeria is now enjoying stable power supply. |
@kulekule, yes it has been existing since in the 50s. but believe me it was appreciative. not now that some people have worsen the situation. well, like @slimming said, we will try to keep managing. but our leaders should try to be patient just like the igbo people. |
keeping religion aside, because Nigerians always want to use religion as a scapegoat. every Nigerian Citizen will agree with me that. in 1999, Nigeria's unity was appreciable. certainly northerners gave maximum support to gen obasanjo not considering he was a Christian and from the southern part of the country. also in 2007, the southerners supported umar yar'adua massively. not considering he was a Muslim and from northern Nigeria. but why in 2011 situation became critical? this is the question I want all Nigerian citizens to think hard. as for me I realized is the inability of Jonathan , Edwin Clarks and co. to comply with the PDP zoning arrangements. the were unable to think of the hatred and it's resultant in the future before taking that decision. am not a fan of obasanjo but I still respect him. even after the northern politicians rejected his 3th term agenda. he still comply with the zoning arrangements. despite pressure on him from the southern politicians to anoint peter odili, former rivers state governor. obasanjo was wise enough to know the hatred that will follow if he abundant the zoning agreement. Edwin Clarks is among the Nigerian elders state men. I respect a lot. the biggest mistake he and other southerners did was, for them to think south south presidency is greater than Nigeria's unity. may God help Nigeria. |
I wish I was a member of the 40 laptops atleast government will be paying me, but I wonder how much they will be paying each member, do you think it will be enough for me to consider closing my company now I believed u are not a member of the group. one love. |
@greaterlove and @taharqa, u guyz have clearly shown that u are members of the 40 laptops we have been hearing about. go and investigate in how many years Singapore generates 80000magawatts. and in how many years south Africa generates 40000magawatts. am not blaming only GEJ for Nigeria's power failure. but we must also accept the fact that Jonathan is only a failure. Nigeria can generate 10000magawatts in one year if corruption and clueless cabinet will be wiped out. |
I have been forced to comment on this issue. I always wonder when will Nigerian citizens stop supporting our most corrupt politicians. how could a Nigerian who is educated be supporting lavishing of N654M by the same government who have promised stable power supply twice in 3 years and failed. some Nigerians should be ashamed of their selfish comments in this forum. we should be aware that south Africa is generating about 40000magawatts. Dubai with a population of 1.6 million equivalent to jigawa state is generating about 16000magawatts. but Jonathan could not increased even more than 2000magawatts for the over 170million Nigerians in the past 3 years. and someone will be telling us to live the presideny alone. in Egypt when the situation became worse even die hard supporters of Mubarak realized it is time for change. let's learn from them. may God help Nigeria. |
so, are u guyz with me on the new policy or what? |
