I’ll give an example of our petty behaviour. My boyfriend went to visit his mum. 24 hours after being at his mum’s place, he didn’t pick my call and he didn’t call me either, and he didn’t respond to the numerous messages I left on his phone. I was so worried, I had to call his mum and told his mum to give him the phone. His mum gave him the phone. His mum also confirmed to me that my boyfriend had arrived 24 hours before I called her so it wasn’t a case of him playing games with me. Obviously I was very angry and I asked him why he wasn’t picking my calls. His response was that he is busy. That he will call me when he is done with the job he was doing. I said ok. I didn’t call him again until he called me. He called me a day and half after speaking with him on his mum’s phone. All the while I was lamenting to his mum how her son has refused to call me or pick my calls. His mum kept consoling me that he will call me immediately he finished what was doing. Guess what?, when I went to visit my own parents, I did exactly the same thing to him. He was so angry. Since then he hasn’t tried that rubbish again. Then we had to promise each other to always pick each other’s call even if we are very busy. Since then we’ve been picking each other’s calls.

This cultist no go win.

And about your question, truth be told, I haven't seen the stone myself, he reached out to me on WhatsApp with pictures and the money story, maybe it true or maybe not.

The foo.l even showed us injuries he sustained while trying to excape from those chasing him trying to get the stone back... The stone might even have some sort of spiritual power for it to be so important to the Mami water and those chasing him. ( it was an elaborate story with monkeys, and many obstacles he was able to overcome before escaping)

Of course we believed him because his house was close to a swamp which led to a river. Plus he showed us injuries he claimed he sustained while excaping.

Well, eventually the onions now fell on me to look for buyers for our new treasure whose profit was to be shared when a deal was reached.

Long story short after investing time, money, receiving a slap and almost causing a riot at the school then trying to get buyers (at a point we thought the buyers were trying to cheat us that's why they were telling us it was worthless - that was how believable the guy's story was) we found out it was, wait for it - those fancy design stuff used to decorate curtains that are diamond shaped.

This guy knew what I went through trying to sell those stuff o. I didn't even know what to do to him.

Now I think of it the guy was a brilliant story teller.

And the lesson Iearnt from the experience is the extent people can go to make you believe things which aren't true.
