Ketamine9000mg: You love Jesus and want to be in heaven, but you are afraid of death.
As how na?
It shows that many Christians don't really believe in the afterlife.
Look at Islamic terrorists or the vikings for instance, they strongly believe(d) in their rewards in the afterlife that they have no fear for death. This is the voice of ignorance speaking. Why should one be in a hurry to die and go into internity, a place that we will have to live for ever. Earthly live and heavenly life are two different thing. It's not about just living but fulfilling your vision and purpose in the world. We all have what God created us for, fulfilling them is the key. |

It’s like a man caught red‑handed stealing a chicken claiming: “But my neighbor stole a cow and wasn’t caught, so let me go free.” Ridiculous. Accountability isn’t selective. Because I said assuming it was true. I introduce assumption to it just to flow with you just to let you know that nothing justifies the invasion. Olaide1295: And it being done does not make it right. Simple civility tells us to respect other people and rights to peaceful living. Preaching on the road may be fair because at least people have a choice to leave if uncomfortable. But being in a confined space like a bus, and being forced to listen to preaching is disrespectful and uncomfortable. Imagine someone farting/eating locust beans food on a confined bus (and saying it's not against the law)....it's not truly, but it's not civil. Do whatever you think is your conviction and if the gospel was left for someone like you out of 100 percent that have received it today or where it has gotten to by now it would have been less than 10 percent spread and acceptance if it was left for your kinds. The gospel is must be taken out forcefully. We are unapologetic about it. At no time did it come easily. It was this same reasons the disciples were killed. Philip was stone on the open, Paul was beaten several times, James was killed, Peter was arrested. Several others spread it with their blood, the first missionaries to Africa were killed so where other places. The blood of men gave me the Bible today. Many people are in jail as we speak, being tortured for preaching it either in the open or secrets. The gospel has always be a force and must by enforced by us. Peter preached it in the open and thousands gave their heart to Chris in Acts so also other disciplines and the church grow. The Bible recounts that they filled Jerusalem with their doctrines. The Pharisees, the Seduces and the scribe, where did they encounter Jesus if not at the open, in the street. You quoted scripture verse that you don't know the meaning. They are different ways of engagement. Homes, streets, markets, offices, wherever humans lives are our domain. We go into every man's world with the gospel, the good news without restrictions. |

Politics › Re: Court Refuses Police Bid To Stop ‘free Nnamdi Kanunow’ Protest by ogascomax: 7:33am On Oct 18, 2025 |
malali: On many issues, I agree with you, but on this one, I am choosing to sit it out. My reason is simple: Nnamdi Kanu’s actions in the Southeast have jeopardized lives and destroyed property, turning entire communities into chaos.
The protests and agitations he spearheaded haven’t produced any tangible or achievable objective, other than normalizing unrest and forcing everyone to tolerate disorder.
He abused everyone indiscriminately, Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, Muslims, Christians,Igbos( those that didnt subscribe to his delusions) no one was spared from his provocations. And while calls for his release may appeal to principles of civil liberties, it’s impossible to ignore the human and economic toll his movement has inflicted on the region.
So while I support lawful dissent in general, in this case, the history of destruction makes it hard to stand behind the current protest.
If you doubt listen to how he took a shot at Christians on this Facebook link attached. Nnamdi kanu was out to just cause chaos. The worst move Tinubu can make is to Free Nnamdi Kanu.
https://www.facebook.com/reel/805445365748248
Kanu can be a crazy fellow however, the fact remains that the court once freed him and he was unjustly arrested again. Was he the judge that gave the judgement. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerian Woman Seen Confidently Preaching The Gospel On A Train In The Uk(vid) by ogascomax: 8:42pm On Oct 17, 2025 |
MaxInDHouse: Of course there is a law against making noise or disturbing people with unwanted noise.
It's the law Jesus himself set as example {Galatians 6:2} the scriptures said about him:
"Look! My servant whom I chose, my beloved, whom I have approved! I will put my spirit upon him, and what justice is he will make clear to the nations. He will not quarrel nor cry aloud, nor will anyone hear his voice in the main streets. No bruised reed will he crush, and no smoldering wick will he extinguish, until he brings justice with success. Indeed, in his name nations will hope.” Matthew 12:18-21
So according to the law of Christ himself disturbing people with noise when they haven't given you the permission to speak is wrong. That's why Jesus commanded his disciples to approach people in their homes so you may ask for permission before speaking! Matthew 10:11-13 New International Version Luke 14:23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full. You are just quoting scripture wrongly and you don't even understand what that means. Jesus that most of is engagement was on the street. The disciples after him was on the street. He never made going to people's home as the standard. You can preach to people in whatever way that is available to you. A journey of 10 minutes with 50 people it's impossible to do one on one. The easiest way is to talk to them all. |
