Couple of months back, I talked on how to block and unblock numbers on infinix android phones. So far, a lot of people seem interested in that content and it’s interesting to know that quite a handful of persons do not know how to perform such simple function.

Most of the recent comment on that post portrays people not being able to still block and unblock numbers on their infinix smartphones despite the step by step guide. Of course, i can understand why, hence, the reason for this updated content.

The earlier content was based on older infinix phones with some of them running XUI which is infinix own custom UI at the time. Currently, infinix custom UI is referred to as XOS.

Updates to XOS brought about a handful of changes and one of them, is the harassment block being removed from the XManager menu options. Hence, users following the previous tutorial couldn’t find their way through the process. Especially for those using latest infinix android phones.

Before now, Infinix android users could simply navigate to XManager, tap on harassment block and add or remove you’d like to block there. Now, the process is different. At first, it was confusing but since I figured it out, I thought it wise to share, as usual.

How To Block and Unblock Specific Numbers On Infinix Zero 5, Infinix Note 4 and Infinix HOT 5
In 2017, infinix launched a couple of devices. These devices includes the Infinix Zero 5, Infinix Note 4 and the Infinix HOT 5 amongst others.

All of these devices run Android Nougat customized with XOS. An updated version to be precise.

If you happen to use any of these devices, here’s how to go about blocking or unblocking specific numbers on those android phones. This can actually be actualized in two steps. Both, I’d be outlining here.

For the sake of those who would rather prefer watching a detailed video to reading lengthy contents with less step-by-step instruction, i made one for you.


Blocking numbers via the call log menu is pretty straight forward.

Block numbers on infinix android phone via call log
Go to the call log
Tap on the additional information icon
Tap on the option icon and tap on Block.
Doing that, that specific number will be blocked. Hence, you wouldn’t be able to receive calls or SMS from the number.

To unblock, simply follow the same process and tap on unlock.

Launch the contact app
Tap on the menu icon
Tap on Blocked numbers.
Therein, you’d find the list of blocked numbers if you’ve blocked any already.

To block a new number, tap on Add a Number. Input the number and tap on Block.

A prostitute in fear of being sent to prison pulled her client’s condom off his Pen!s and swallowed it whole to try and destroy the evidence.

The 48-year-old Vietnamese national named Dang was found guilty of perjury after misleading police following a crackdown on $ex workers.

She was jailed for two months for lying to a local court in Western Taiwan after claiming that she did not have $ex with her client, identified as Yao.

Identified only as Dang, she will not be punished for trying to destroy evidence because the condom was never found. Police raided the ‘health spa’ at 9pm on March 14 and found her in a room on the first floor.

Dang and Yao were questioned separately on prostitution charges and Dang denied any illegal activity.

However, her client admitted they were ‘halfway through’ having $ex when police smashed their way in through the front door and said that Dang quickly removed the condom.

Officers searched the room after finding a condom wrapper and later reported that she was constantly asking for water. She was taken to Jen-Ai Hospital in neighbouring Taichung City where scans revealed a ‘shadow’ in her chest, which police believed was the condom.
As a result, they were never able to formally charge Dang with destruction of evidence. Doctors at the facility said the woman – had she really swallowed the condom as suspected – risked having the rubber lodged in her upper respiratory tract or somewhere in her digestive system, which would require surgery to extract in the future. However, it could also be digested without obstruction.
The woman’s client and another massage parlour worker were also punished, but their sentences have not been revealed.
