It is not good to wish a leader ill luck. We should bring up the issue that are his likely pitfalls so he can avoid them.
It is hard being a leader and that is why in my faith, it is a direct command to always pray for them.
I am Soludo-skeptic too because of the background of free and easy money as CBN gov he is coming from but I pray he succeeds.

Every part of Nigeria needs to get it right, my Lagos state and Yorubaland is being over burdened with droves of internally displaced unpatriotic category of Igbo who hate the Yoruba thereby bringing badluck of hate to Yorubaland and creating socio political problems for us Yoruba today.
Stop talking rubbish. Lagos is overburdened by people who excaped collapsing brown roof from ogbomoso

This is getting into your life stop it, im trying to point out your addictions to your ego massaging yet you came up again with another rant, what will happen if you showcase your achievements without comparing them to other people? Must your success be measured by others' failure?

I dont just understand your guy's mindset, there's something seriously wrong with the way many of us are raised
If other people try to rubbish your achievement and mock then there must be comparison

You go just die of hypertension. I know you are currently suffering from post-election loss, after Emilokan Tinubu is sworn in on May 29th, you will slip into depression.

Tinubu was in US for many years, he was charged there and released. They couldn't even jail him. Is it now that he is the President that they will jail him? You people no get sense at all
Nobody said Tinubu will be jailed, read and understand. What he is saying is that they have evidences of his dirty dealings which they will use to armtwist him to their own advantage. I'm beginning to think you people are scared about Tinubu's weak "victory"

They even believe labour party won the presidential election but one state in Guber election and didn't win half majority in HOR and senatorial election... They are bitter people crying all over the place because Tinubu is bigger than all their ancestors combine... Ahmadioha included
You clearly don't know Rudolph Ogoo Okonkwo. Indomie generation

See the long list of names - foreign based professors, doctors, ''chiefs'' - all jostling for recognition over a single block of classrooms built for a primary school.
These are the names of members of the Union. The project is from the Union's money. Not that they came together specifically for this project but they just took money from the Union's purse and did the project

Thank you for taking your time to throw more light on this.
Hopefully these our half-baked "educated" youth will understand more.
I am scared and shocked at how simple information is grossly misunderstood for a supposed educated and enlightened people.
The key factor there is population density. Because SE is the most densely populated area, every statiatical index taken will ALWAYS be higher per square area. Poor, rich, educated, illiterate, everything.
At least this calculation above proved that although it has the highest density of poor people per square mile, it still has the least total number of poor people in total.
We wondered why they have not been showing other data per square area. Yeye people

It's not about Anambra poverty percentage in Soludo's NBS data, but which position is it occupying in national ranking. In that same data, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Ogun etc had higher poverty than Anambra. That particular data Soludo was quoting had unusually high percentage for all states

When I saw the statistics, I laughed at the ignorance of the north and the west.

When has poverty per square kilometer become a yardstick for measuring prosperity anywhere in the world.

I was expecting the individual or group that churned out these numbers to tell us the per capital income per region.

No, they won't. They are more fixated at using parameters that portray the East as lagging behind.
I'm sure the brain behind the mischievous data is from SW

I would definitely like to see

graduate per square metre
Doctors or square metre
Lawyers pet square metre
Business per square metre
Universities per square metre
Houses per square metre
Cars per square metre
Hospital per square metre
Schools per square metre

Let's not stop at poor people ...they would twist statistics on its head just to paint igbos/ south east bad

There was a state of graduates per state ...imo and Anambra were getting 12,000 per year ...some states were getting 200 600 and 2000 ...but ...you would never see stats on

Graduates per year , flights per square metre , doctors states origin , business owners by states of origin ...house owner per states of origin , car owners per states of origin ...nah you can't

But as Igbos we chest am we move we are nothing yet compared to our competitors in Eastern Europe those are the people we are competing with
Leave the propagadists to be deceiving themselves. As SE recorded lowest poverty to their disappointment, they switched to strange data of poverty per square miles. They should as well show every other things per square miles then

Expanding the data:

NE: 105193 Sq miles x 183 = 19,250,319 poor people
NC: 93600 sq miles x 226 = 21,253,600 poor people
NE: 74551 sq miles x 528 = 39,362,928 poor people
SS: 32659 sq miles x597 = 19,497,423 poor people
SW: 30758 sq miles x 537 =16,517,046 poor people
SE: 11399 sq miles x 970 = 11,057 030 poor people
This is the real data. Actual number of poor people or percentage of poor people to total population. Big landmass does not take away poverty

The issue is that, Lagos state is ranked 72nd wealthiest city in the world but you thought it was a poor performance.

I doubt it will get 1000th position.

This is a foolish and mischievous statistics. The population density of the south east is the highest in the country hence, this the expected outcome. The results is meant for dullards who are mathematically handicapped. Oyo state is larger than the SE in land mass, so the result achieved nothing but just a mere Political propaganda for morons to masturbate about as you can see from the thread. grin
The real data should be percentage of total population.

I disagree with this report.

Last time I checked, SE plays host to the highest number of billionaires in the world.

Based on ipob bureau of statistics, the SE has 970 billionaires per square centimetre.
Don't be dumb, that number represent smaller percentage of total population for the area covered than other regions. Japan probably have higher number of poor people per square miles than Niger Republic

So, how did South East manage to top literacy rate for both women and men if they are that poor?

How come they have the highest JAMB candidates : where did they find money to sponsor their wards?

How come South East produces the highest numbers of graduate doctors, engineers and lawyers? These are courses with high tuition fees.

My hunch tells me these stats were based on purchase of consumables, which is not surprising as other tribes spend a lot on merriment to the detriment of personal infrastructures like housing. Also Igbos have the highest saving culture among Nigerians.
Any data that captures per square mile will be higher in SE because of small land. Those people making noise should show data of other things per square miles
