Did Medicals last week Monday (13th October), got the request on the 21st October, so.... 1 week and 1 day I suppose.

my application is just showing approved but no word from CIC on passport submission since Friday last week

How long did it take for you to get passport request after Medicals?

Jst got request for my passport! Once I submit, moving prayers to gear 5! FULL SPEED!!

A question for the house doh, I'm to start in January 2015, and my passport expires August 2016. I knw they won't issue beyond the validity of my passport (and it's not all too possible to renew passport that has that much validity), so just asking sha, they'll issue up to the expiry date "August 2016" only abi?

Since I'll be in ottawa, I guess I can easily renew le passport at the Naija embassy there. So house, what's your take on this?

Hey guys.. I've done Medicals, my status has shown passed and application is closed now with application showing "this application has been approved" but I have not gotten any mail for passport submission.. How long does it take to get passport request? My application was approved on Friday..

Hmmmm, Monday to Friday is all about praying to God for medical and TRV while Saturday and Sunday for argument, jokes..........chai der is God ooooo. Keep it up guys.

Doesnt seem like any update yet. It happened so some persons too where they get update emails from CIC without really having their CIC account updated.. I'm guessing its just a glitch from CIC system.. Just check your application date and observe if theyre close to answering your date before you can really worry about such status update messages

You are to check your Application details (Screenshot below) for any changes. When you get the updated message, it doesn't mean there's a new message. It could just be a new change in your application status. Check if there's anything new from the last time you checked in your details.

My sponsor didnt write a letter of sponsorship either.. Only the notarized affidavit

Hello house, please my sponsor gave me a notarized letter stating he will sponsor me and all...but hes saying there is no need for letter of sponsorship since he has stated it in the notarized letter....please advise!


Also, i have the lagos state birth certificate.....is that ok?

yes the girl at childs practice is lovely,we where even gisting befor I went it for my medicals,I even called her on phone to ask if my results have been sent and she gave me a polite answer.what school are u heading to?

Did my medicals at childrens practice and I didnt have to book an appointment.. i just walked in and out within 1.5Hr.. Did it last week thursday and on my CIC account, it changed to pass yesterday so it takes about 4 working days to have to submit your results.. I think theyre very efficient and have good reception too. Nice looking girl that attends to people politely and even on phone... Screw ASAJU..

Online route still gives you the opportunity to write a letter of intent to explain yourself as much as you can.

I don't know of online route,but paper route gives u the opportunity to explain urself more to the vo.But above All with God all things are possible.Just pray and hold ur peace let God act for u...

Medical done at asaju clinic after a little drama cos we no book appointment ahead.
Met a Conestogian and we had a chat, the dude later drove us to crestview or so for the xray.
I don book medicals in the name of everyone on our list of hopeful TRV's and told the receptionist that from henceforth, No drama!

80% TRV approval atleast.. Other 20% depends on your health status and if they still still deem it fit to rebrope your finances and they think its inadequate.

Eyintemi (my own people)..... My application has just been refused based on dis stories: travel history, length of proposed stay, purpose of visit, current employment situation, personal assets and financial status

Sorry bro.. theres still time to reapply. Lets see your documents and let the guys here offer their advice

Please at what point in the processing period of an online application will I be required to do my biometrics at VAC? I work in Kwara State so going to Lagos is a trip I would rather plan than rush at.

And sadly I just left Ibadan yesterday.. I hope you find someone to help out but you really dont have to be an expert with computers to fill out your application and upload them.. Just get someone who knows a little about computers and can read and understand instructions too.
