If it cant be fixed by you, then you just have to get to the school auditorium first. There, they are gonna release your form for you so you can refill again. Its no problem at all. Just go to the school. k? |
Indiana Jones In the Temple of Dome. sort of my favourite then |
Dont kill yourself over the acceptance stuff.U said u arent based in benin. We'll i really think you should know that your clearance cant be done in lagos as well. you just have to move to benin cos thats exactly where you'll be spending atleast the next 4 years.Get used to that man |
Hi Uzzy.Hope youre enjoying your break? saw your matric pix.I guess u had a really great matriculation.its cool, |
you don't really have to stress yourself with the format.Just get to the school and go to any biz centre around and they'd fix you up because they've all got the format. don't stress up man and its good to have u ebaeno. am also in engineering (electrical) 300L.we might just meet sometimes.cya |

you guys are just so shallow in your thinking.Engineering is the only course one can study and affect lives and maybe medicine. Engineering deals basically with the safety of individuals.when working on a project, an engineer puts many things in place just to make sure the user of the finished product doestnt get himself injured or even killed. A famous quote from Herbert Hoover illustrates this engineering view: Engineering is a great profession. There is a fascination of watching a figment of the imagination emerge, through the aid of science, to a plan on paper. Then it moves to realization in stone or metal or energy. Then it brings jobs home to men. Then it elevates the standards of living and adds to the comfort of life. That is the engineer’’s high privilege. The great liability of the engineer, compared to men of other professions, is that his works are out in the open where all can see them. His acts, step by step, are in hard substance. He cannot bury his mistakes in the grave, like the doctors. He cannot argue them into thin air or blame the judge, like the lawyers. He cannot, like the architects, cover his failures with trees and vines. He cannot, like politicians, screen his shortcomings by blaming his opponents and hope the people will forget. The engineer simply cannot deny he did it. If his works do not work, he is damned, On the other hand, unlike the doctor, his is not a life among the weak. Unlike the soldier, destruction is not his purpose. Unlike the lawyer, quarrels are not his daily bread. To the engineer falls the job of clothing the bare bones of science with life, comfort, and hope. No doubt, as the years go by, the people forget which engineer did it, even if they ever knew. Or some politician puts his name on it. Or they credit it to some promoter who used other peoples’’ money. But the engineer looks back at the unending stream of good. |
my GPA is 4.28 now.hope to raise to a 1st class this session |
pray hard man |
Uniben resumes on wednesday guys so pack and lets go write our exams. |
the way some of you guys talk, its like ure enjoying ur stay at home. ![]() |
i feel yah.but there's yet to be a date for the strike to be called off. we can only hope that ASUU and FG will reach an agreement soon enough and we'll get our asses back to school again. in my opinion, just try and read if you can but its always har and terrible reading at home. |
i wonder why anybody should talk about Ilorin in a serious post like this.i only expects schools like OAU, UI, Uniben, Unilag and maybe Nsuka should be mentioned here not ilorin that runs a semester for 6weeks and bring out graduates who cant speak simple english or even perform in their fields.I know a graduate of ilorin.he was one of the 1st 10 in his dept I.e mechanical engr. he tried running his masters at UI and when UI evaluated him, they told him he wouldnt be able to cope.imagine a person who made a 2-1 and cant cope with simple things.what sort of school is that |
not till ASUU calls off the strike.big guy, i'd suggest you go get somthing doing if you think u've finished preparation for you exam cos the resumption date is indefinite.you wont have to come online to know the date of resumption. you'll know |
i quite agree with henzy. its my second year too and its like am already dead now. I guess its more stressful in my faculty ie; engineering. when i got home recently, my dad was like"why do you always have to look so sick when you come from school" i told him it wasnt my fault.its like Uniben's curriculum's the largest kindof.but we'll definitely scale thru with good grades.dont worry about the stress henzy. after a survey, i came to realize one very few students in other schools and same level can match students in uniben. Thats a consolation for you henzy |
i guess why you guys are still having problems with this topic is cos you havent seen this publication http://www.vanguardngr.com/articles/2002/niger_delta/nd222122006.html Uniben is still the best so far even academic wise.Uniben has the largest curriculum so far.I guess that settles the thread>>>>>>>>>>>> |
There is nothing as refreshing as finishing your day's job and drinking a cool bottle of scotch and having newage music playing at the backgroung prefferably Enya.Althoug, her music has been termed "songs to the gods" by a few.tht doesnt mean her song isnt good.her song makes one reflect on the day's activity. The acoustic takes one from the realm of this world .so keep listenening. |
From the bible, we can see that there was just a single church and God himself is not an author of confusion. So in my view as regards the Bible church, i belive God just wanted a single church and he'll save only members of this church. But its definitely not the catholic church cos the catholic church started very recently i.e 606Ad but the church christ established started in acts 2 which was estimated to be about 33AD so anyone who's not a memeber of this Church christ established may not see heaven or definitely will not see heaven. |
just incase you are not aware.the post de of uniben is out and the site to check it is this http://uniben.waeup.org/display_pde_results so guys, go get admitted.lol
|
u guys keep up the rock spirit, |
for you to be considered, am afraid that wouldnt be possible anymore.since post ume, there isnt anything like 2nd batch.so i'd advice u to try ur second choice or another Jamb.but for your friend, dont really know about such problem.not heard of anyone with such problem.if i got any news as regards his problem, will contakt you. |
do we really have people that listen to rock as much as i Do? and i mean soft and hard rock.Artist like Linkin park, evanescence, staind, creed, hooastank, and lots more. what do u like about rock itself |
i would sugest you get a link with probably evanescene and like work with them 1st or probably linkin park. U may not not the required musical sound that makes a music rock.I'm a rock fan and i must say i listen to rock alone.Artist like Staind, goo goo dolls, hoobastank, greenday, system of a down and artist like that are my favourite.so if u could rily come wit rock as good as these mentioned artist, then i might consider you. |
thnx @yahoo |
does anyone know if celtel browsing is still free |
U've nothing to worry about as regards accomodation.all freshers get accomodation as soon as they finish their clearance.just go over for your clearance and finish it up.u'll get a temporary accomodation till the school starts allocating. |
as the demand for Bsc increases and also discrimination of HND certs, hence the govt thut it would be nice to change most polythecnics to universities. I think its possilbe to change the polythecnics into universities cos it wont take long, it'll only take signing of some new documents. but the question is, will these employers not stilll discriminate certs 4rm these schools?Nigeria is a confused nation.I dont see where all these want to end. Also copnsidering UI that want to stop admitting undergraduates.i rilly think its the most uncivilised thing a school can do. imagine, it there are no graduates, how will they get PG students. Their senate isnt wise enough. |
i must first congratulate you freshers for having passed the almighty Uniben post Ume.Am a 200L stud computer engr.I;d like to advise gabriel that he shouldnt try any runs as regards getting admitted into the instititution because if u do, u might be lucky they'l fish u out after your 1st year but if ure not lucky, it might be u final year.it happened to some lucky ones amongst my set.37 was withdrwan from engr because they faked their post ume result and some other criterias they didnt meet.i say they are lucky because the school really helped them so they can still write another jamb.although it was after their 1st year. That aside, for freshers, resumption is by monday while returning students resume 2 jan.u guys should go and do your clearance.its always very stressful but u'll cope. For Nosu, i suggest u firget that D.E of a thing because Uniilorin is no school for now. Its one tribalistic school. That u got Uniben admision, be rest assured ure in the best school so far. just stick with it.if its because of the one year you'll lose thats making u want to wait for ilorin.that 1 year is too small. just stick with uniben., Cheers |
5 schools were nominated for the best in Africa and it was Only UNIBEN that was among the 5 in Nigeria which tecnically means that Uniben is the best University in Nigeria. I think that should solve the problem on this thread.lol |
women in islam are seen as a thing to satisfy the mans lust.Mohammed was all about sex and how to make up scripts that would favour up his licentious acts. He's very cunning.CHristianity is complete.Teaches us to love our wifes just as christ loved the church and died for it.The Koran even specifies beating of the woman in the book of Sura. |
