Ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial
election in Anambra state, Oseloka Obaze
has on Monday, emerged winner of the
state's primary election of the Peoples
Democratic Party.
Oseloka Obaze has emerged winner of the
governorship primary election of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in
Anambra State, Channels TV reports.
Obaze, a former Secretary to the Anambra
State Government, polled a total of 672
votes on Monday to defeat two other
aspirants.
His closest rival, Alex Obi-Ogbolu, scored
190 votes while the third candidate,
Ifeanyi Ubah, polled 94 votes.
Channels Television gathered 958 party
delegates participated in the election.
Six aspirants had indicated interest to
battle for the Anambra PDP governorship

River State chapter has ordered political
appointees to remit 10% of their salaries
to the party with immediate effect. The

Joachim Iroko, who was captured for naming
his
pooch after Nigeria's leader, Muhammadu
Buhari.
