Good day the gurus in the house, pls am on 3months visa travelling on this week. I need ur assistant on the following area
1. What's the minimum price one can get accommodation per month (I mean the least Price)? I don't mind if anybody in the house could be of help to a brother to manage with him/her for free pending the time I will get job.
2. Then, what state or city in uae can u recommend for a new comer that is coming there for job hunt?
3. Am primarily coming there for greener pasture(job Hunt). Pls anybody with an opportunity should be pls not hesitate to assist

well I came in on Sunday with 3months Visa from Abuja airport, no OTB was asked. The only thing they asked was my invitation letter or hotel reservation which I had none. I tried to to plead with them that I will lodge in a hotel when I get there since I have my money with me but they refused so I had to go to a cyber cafe at d airport n booked for 2wks hostel reservation. Its a 3 page document that cost me 500naira each to print n 500naira internet charge, something that would have cost me less that 300 outside.my bags were not searched, no other disturbance. So try n book a hotel reservation or get an invitation letter from any of ur guys in Dubai b4 going to the airport to avoid shedding tears.

1. They still request OTB. But like it has always been...to select passengers only and passengers of a particular nationality. OTB is an airline thing...and it differs from airline to airline. Provided you are on tourist visa and bought a return ticket. You are fine and won't likely be ask about anything that concerns OTB. Just get to the airline counter early sha. To avoid stories that touch the bumbum.

2. The answer number 1 has killed this.

3. At Nigeria departure...lots of beggars and extorts on the way. Hold enough naira to dash,bribe Nigerian officials(500 naira - 1000 naira depending on whom is talking or asking). At arrival...Nothing, routine baggage search, and immigration clearance(Hold a copy of your visa and Intl. passport). Dazzol.

Good evening gurus in the house. Pls I will like to hear ur say on this matter.
I already have 3months tourist visa in which am planning to travel any moment from now. Notifying the person that helped me to process the visa this morning that I will be there at UAE any day from next week. He said he will be very happy to welcome me and told me that I should tell the agent that help me process the airline ticket that he/she should include my OK TO BOARD paper among the paper he will give me.
Getting to wakanow this morning to book the ticket. They told me that they don't process OTB. From there, I went to one agent perhaps if I processed it through agent maybe he will get me the OK to Board. The only response I got from the agent was they are no more requesting for OTB again. That I should just pay for my ticket and go directly.
Pls gurus in the house, am in ur hand.
1. Is it true that they are no more requesting for OTB?
2. If it is true, what's another system they adopted?
3. What and what advise can u give to HS(new comer) like me as what to encounter at departure airport and arrival airport

Pls house, I want to know the relevant of postgraduate diploma(PGD) in UAE. I hold bachelor of technology in pure and applied mathematics and PGD in computer science.
Initially, I wanted to attestate the b.tech but now am thinking of the PGD because of the course I studied at PGD.
Then another question, can one attestate statement of result in the absent of original certificate?

update...
i went to uae embassy this morning.they still told us that stamp must show on the photo at the back of the biometric page.so they us sent to police hq to verify our pcc. it turns out so many people were holding fake certificates and they didnt know.

lessons
1. make sure they stamp everywhere they are supposed to stamp and very clearly
2.make sure you have the number officer that did it for you make sure the officer fill and sign the bottom of the pcc(name/rank/signature..).
3.make sure it is not fake,to avoid doing it again

My own PCC carried all this quality. But someone i met today at alagbon (cid headquater) told me that I must also goto ministry of foreign affairs headquarter at abuja for another stamp on It. Pls what's d relevant of that mof stamp on PCC?
