My taxify app shuts down(close)everytime,am currently running the app on infinix hot 5 android 7.0 anyone with similar issue? My first time running the app on Android 7.0...

Your waiting time also depends on your activity score (taxify) & confirmation rate (uber). It's a virtual queue.

I suspect there's racket for surge trips on uber too, but have not been able to confirm. . . .

I keep saying that... Have done 4 trips on taxify this morning...my activity score is 100% am always getting request. Don't even wait up to 15 minutes

Your pattern will not work in some places,like Ajah if you take a passenger from Ajah to VI around 7am, it is better not to stay in VI because you can do 5trips if you drive back to LEKKI or AGUNGi. I do that everyday before 11am.,I have done 5trips.

I know it won't work in some area,mind u some parts of vi are residential

Fuel consumption has to do with individual car and driving patterns, several uber/taxify Drivers don't know how to conserve fuel.... I drive conservatively...if I drop a rider I will park my car switch off the engine and wait patiently for the next available rider... Some drivers will even drive an empty car from mainland to island in search of riders... WHAT A PATTERN!!!

In spite of the wired fence at Oshodi two weeks ago I witnessed a guy snatch a phone from someone by the window in a bus around 6pm.

I beg to disagree sir, taxify has longer waiting time... Uber is back to back... Driving on both platform require different techniques...am talking based on my own PERSONAL EXPERIENCE... I STAND TO BE CORRECTED SIRE... I LIKE TAXIFY O, I HAVENT DRIVEN ON UBER FOR TWO MONTHS NOW...

The reason for that is very simple.
Less driver to service Uber riders at the moment while on the other hand, more driver to service average rider request on Taxify. Therefore, any driver will always get request on Uber either 30 minutes away or 1 minutes.
But you might not get request quickly on Taxify if your activity % is low.
Always maintain between 98% to 100% activity on Taxify and see the difference in waiting time.
My advice for anyone with less activity score on Taxify is to never stay in a competitive environment. You should rather be more active in less competitive environment until your activity score improve to 98%.

This man knows the logic. I will never play with my activity score...

Bro I drive my own car sparingly on Friday to Sunday and I make 35k after every expenses. I don't drive more than 10hrs in those days. Any driver that has a problem delivering 35k is just a CHEAT. Whats difficult in working for the car owner on Friday to Sunday. You can make another 30k net for yourself in three days and rest for one day.

I just can't understand what the fuss is all about. This uber/taxify driver job is one of the highest paying non-whitecollar job in the country with 100-150k monthly earnings for the driver.

My newest driver is a young guy I picked up on the street with zero idea about e-hailing taxi. I tutored him well and loaned him money for a good phone. I have him work from 5am to 12noon, he comes home to eat and sleep till 5pm. He then works till 11pm and he is done for the day. I fuel his car every day and I pay him 25k weekly. This way I make 37k to 45k weekly depending on how much he makes between those hours. I handle all my repairs. I have never had a happier driver and I have never been happier with a driver.

Some guys are still on 45k WEEKLY HP and they are not complaining...
