entparrot: Hello sir,
Im not against u earning more than the owner.
My problem with drivers is paying of rent, they want to work and keep the owners money.
Most of my drivers are my good friends, we talk and share our experiences.
Infact, when they face bully from police or lastma, I fight their battle for free.
If you are a good driver u r welcome to drive for me, infact I can employ you immediately. Can you manage a Peugeot 406 or Peugeot 407? I don't mind giving you one of my cars to manage... Since you will pay me for a week... |

Stealth100: I said this same thing long before he started his fleet mgt coy. From when he started sharing all these tips to make 120k weekly. I know he is being kind to drivers but imagine if like 500-1000 drivers use the same strategy, how possible is it for everyone to make 120k weekly. I really hope Ogunvic learns from this and guard his business ideas with his life. It's a jungle out here bro. You have a myopic view bro, you need to meet me in person, let's hang out and have a drink... |

entparrot: What we want is results for everybody, not for me or any greedy driver that think buying a car of 1.7 Million is a child's play.
As a lawyer, I protect everybody's interest. We all can succeed if you don’t cheat; drivers that have tried cheating have been seriously dealt with.
To be honest, hardly will owners cheats, the problem is drivers trying to earn beyond their means.
I know most drivers hate me on this forum for been vocal; I have had wonderful business relationship with over 5 drivers here,
I believe there are still plenty of honest drivers here that can make it happen. Your success is our interest.
Bring your car to us and get paid up front, no risk. What do u have to say about car owners giving drivers bad cars and taking advantage that drivers are desperate? |

abitafah: I'm sure Ogunvic has learnt his lesson the hard way. Yoruba adage says "if person yam don done, the person suppose cover am dey chop". Ogunvic has a good strategy but coming to share the strategy is uncalled for. Business strategy is supposed to be kept secret. He created this competition for himself and the funny thing is that this enterparrot is using Ogunvic strategy to create his own. Bro this market is JUST TOO BIG...Lagos is about 25 millions... Uber/taxify don't even have up to 1 million riders... ITS A BIG MARKET...90% OF MY CLIENTS ARE NOT FROM NAIRALAND, No one understand my vision... We are partnering big companies... Drivers aren't meant to repair cars... Partners put blames on driver for damages not caused by them, our roads are bad, partners buy a lot of FAKE PARTS THAT WONT LAST and blame drivers for damaging the car... BRT drivers don't fix the buses... GIG driver don't fix the buses... Bank drivers don't repair the cars... Personal drivers don't fix cars... Y SHOULD A DRIVER SERVICE UR CAR? MY OPINION... Romeo3: Peugeot e10 - 90k Peugeot e7 - less than 80k.
Driver is fueling don't forget that.
a perfect car won't need anything other than servicing for atleast 4 months. I can vouch for lions. their suspension will last over 6 months.
You cannot own and drive. It's a partnership in the sense that you own the car, he drives. Brand new shocks will last over 9 months as a commercial car.... |

Secondly, if I take my car for inspection and it passes and I am the one driving it, do I still need to take a driver's test? And should incase they decline my vehicle , I intend to apply for the driver test anyways. What are the things I need for the test, I mean apart from my driver's license and What does the test entail?
My questions are much but what is the use of this thread if questions can't be answered, enough of the fight and beef, let's go back to work UBER- no inspection needed TAXIFY-2K for inspection, centres yaba, heyden filling station alapere and total filling station palm lekki toll gate.... bily: Manual transmission is good. Abuja and generally the northern part of Nigeria have good roads with less congestion of vehicles. So you have less traffic.
But when you need to drive in the hellishlagoas traffic daily, you will keep praising the people that invented automatic transmission. It's just more sensible in a traffic prone area I hope u know I drive manual on uber/taxify in Lagos ...for me its fun, danfo drivers can testify to that...anytime am in traffic I shift to neutral and pull up the handbrake...PEUGEOT made me like manual transmission. I now dislike automatic cars... |

Smart guys are making money...that I don't explain my strategies to the public doesn't mean we don't know what we are doing.. We have a team of 10 dedicated hard working guys...more cars more staff... We have drivers and clients on this thread...have u heard any complains?? Even if the driver made 80k the partner still get 50k... several back ups. Have been working on this project for over 3 years, driving on uber and taxify was an experiment... Most fleet managers never drove on the platforms... I drove, I own a car, I know the pains of a driver and car owner... Am an automobile person, so what else... |

Carshopper: My concern on the HP system is that the driver doesn't bring equity or equity isn't substantial. But with proper attention HP system can work though the default period is set between 4-7months. But then some would say the driver will be dropping a dead car at the time of default while others would say otherwise.
I stick with me rental and my LL ver201 partnership agreement SECONDED, am still waiting for the driver(s) that has completed his HP payment to show up on this thread... |
