My problem with drivers is paying of rent, they want to work and keep the owners money.

Most of my drivers are my good friends, we talk and share our experiences.

Infact, when they face bully from police or lastma, I fight their battle for free.

I said this same thing long before he started his fleet mgt coy. From when he started sharing all these tips to make 120k weekly. I know he is being kind to drivers but imagine if like 500-1000 drivers use the same strategy, how possible is it for everyone to make 120k weekly.

As a lawyer, I protect everybody's interest. We all can succeed if you don’t cheat; drivers that have tried cheating have been seriously dealt with.

To be honest, hardly will owners cheats, the problem is drivers trying to earn beyond their means.

I know most drivers hate me on this forum for been vocal; I have had wonderful business relationship with over 5 drivers here,

I believe there are still plenty of honest drivers here that can make it happen.

Drivers aren't meant to repair cars...
Partners put blames on driver for damages not caused by them, our roads are bad, partners buy a lot of FAKE PARTS THAT WONT LAST and blame drivers for damaging the car...
BRT drivers don't fix the buses...
GIG driver don't fix the buses...
Bank drivers don't repair the cars...
Personal drivers don't fix cars...

Peugeot is always better. Why is it that Uber and taxify don't accept Peugeot 307, the one that's like Toyota matrix.

A friend on this thread uses 307 for uber and taxify...

a perfect car won't need anything other than servicing for atleast 4 months. I can vouch for lions. their suspension will last over 6 months.

You cannot own and drive. It's a partnership in the sense that you own the car, he drives.

Brand new shocks will last over 9 months as a commercial car....

Secondly, if I take my car for inspection and it passes and I am the one driving it, do I still need to take a driver's test? And should incase they decline my vehicle , I intend to apply for the driver test anyways. Manual transmission is good. Abuja and generally the northern part of Nigeria have good roads with less congestion of vehicles. So you have less traffic.

But when you need to drive in the hellishlagoas traffic daily, you will keep praising the people that invented automatic transmission. It's just more sensible in a traffic prone area

I hope u know I drive manual on uber/taxify in Lagos ...for me its fun, danfo drivers can testify to that...anytime am in traffic I shift to neutral and pull up the handbrake...PEUGEOT made me like manual transmission. I now dislike automatic cars...

Its weekend, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays are the peak days on uber and taxify....
FRIDAYS- target 20k to 25k...
SATURDAYS-target 20k to 30k...
SUNDAYS-target 20k to 30k
MONDAYS- target 18k to 22k
rest on Tuesdays...

several back ups. Have been working on this project for over 3 years, driving on uber and taxify was an experiment... Most fleet managers never drove on the platforms... I drove, I own a car, I know the pains of a driver and car owner...

Its not easy... Uber offered me 2.5m with 25k weekly delivery on a corolla 2006 last august, money to be completed in 3 years partnership with Sterling bank 25% interest per annum. Advance HP. I ran for my dare life...romeo3 also qualified. We both ran lol

My concern on the HP system is that the driver doesn't bring equity or equity isn't substantial. But with proper attention HP system can work though the default period is set between 4-7months. But then some would say the driver will be dropping a dead car at the time of default while others would say otherwise.

I stick with me rental and my LL ver201 partnership agreement
