Its your choice which tool to use, but do not say that people that do HTML are in the last decade.

One day your widget will not give you exactly what you want and u will need to manipulate the HTML, and you will still need to go back to basics and meet those guys in the last decade.

A word of advice for you: good developers are never lazy

1. Web designers and developers came up with the template right?

2. What did they create it with?

3. Didnt they build it from scratch?

4. If everybody starts thinking like you, do you think you will have a theme or template to use?

After using what some guy some where did with traditional tools, you come here and tell us that : 'using the theme is 100 times better than the site you sit down and design with your traditional tools for design'.

I am an artist, i need a site, i have my layout and design on paper and i want you to implement it. What will you do? I think you may start searching the internet (sweating), to get something close right? And the best part is that the site is for 12000 120,000.

Pls do not defend your lack of knowledge on this forum. Go back to basics and learn cos u are a Template Installer 'Website Designer' and will be faced with different varieties of jobs.

Dual Core:
at least i've been able to change the Code View's background to a dark shade. It hurts ma eyes to have to stare at something bright day and night.

i think it has been there in cs4. Edit > Preferences > Code Coloring > Default Background

@pc guru i wonder where u got your percentage from? 20% means out of five pictures, u will have an instance of the same name. Anyway, ur idea is okay, but for the percentage,i dislike fake statistics.

parameters:
name of folder to upload to: uploads
name of the file field on the form: logo
what u will insert into the database: $file

the code to handle upload:

$rand = rand(1000, 100000);
$file="uploads/".$rand.basename($_FILES["logo"]["name"]);
move_uploaded_file($_FILES["logo"]["tmp_name"],$file);


insert $file in the appropriate column in ur table.

select from db:

select column_name from table_name;
run the query
then the image source will now be in variable eg $img

display the image:
<img src="<?php echo $img;?>" />



NB: what u store in d database is the source of the image u uploaded to the server.

Ugojamali, ur observation about ladijolaos may be correct but before u make ur opinion public, u have to check ur own sites first.

Your site and some other sites u have done (such as: www.anambraonweb.com) leaves so much to be desired.

I dont really think u re good with designs, putting ur site in perspective.

i think the edge of the ram pictures, which is square like does not really rhyme with right part which is curved.
