Interaction is an important part of events that allows participants to meet new people with can be potential clients, suppliers or useful contacts collaborations for future projects. Do you want to avoid people who know each other grouping together into cliques at your event? These 9 ideas that are easy, fun and highly interactive should loosen everyone up. Encouraging interaction between your attendees is a big goal for most event planners who understand how important networking is in terms of engagement and creating a unique experience. With so much interaction done online, real, face to face human interaction is what many will remember about your event. Networking can be the problem of many introvert attendees – lacking just that little ignition to start-up a conversation. Here are some easy, no-tech, start-up ideas to boost networking, engage and kickoff interaction at your event. 1. Name Tag Switchee This is always a fun and interesting idea but it works best for small groups or events - because too many people can make it difficult! At the point of registration/reception, give the attendees the wrong name tags and task them with finding the person with their name. When they have found the right person they must answer 3 questions to get the name tag back and then this will continue until everyone has the correct name tag! You can then call out some two to three attendees and ask them about the person they got their tag from. This not only helps people to approach each other and learn more about other attendees but can also encourage groups of people to start having conversations that they can continue later on. 2. Collection of Business Card Remind attendees to bring a number of their business cards but without telling them the reason. Once all of the attendees have arrived, give them 15-20 minutes for fast networking, with the aim to go around, talk to each other and learn as much as they can. The attendee with the highest number of business cards at the end of the time wins a prize. 3. Playing Card Meet-up Give each attendee a playing card and group the attendees first with the pictures and numbers together (Queen, 2, Jack etc.) and then within the suit. Give them 5 minutes to find similarities and shared interests within the group or ask them to complete an easy task. This is a good way to encourage meeting new people and avoid people who know each other grouping together into cliques. For larger events you can opt to have the attendees find the same card as them rather than the suit, otherwise the groups become rather too large. I know there’s probably been a time in your life when you’ve looked back over your Facebook photos and get embarrassed at the sight of your own face. I know this because I’ve done it, many times. I asked myself what was I thinking when I did this? There are those types of mistakes (the ones you delete IMMEDIATELY), and then there are the ones that you might be still doing every day without even realizing it. Here are some of them with their correct fixes. 1. Wearing the Wrong Shade Of Foundation We all do it one point or another. Here is an easy fix. Just choose two shades that come closest to your skin tone, apply each of them to your jawline, and then go outside to natural light and look in a mirror. Use your own judgment to see which one looks most natural. RECOMMENDED PRODUCT: flori roberts EVEN TOUCH POWDER FOUNDATION 2. Applying Makeup To Dry Skin This is a huge no-no. You should be exfoliating once a week, because applying foundation onto dry skin will stress flakiness, and it will sit on the top of your face instead of blending in. if you exfoliate once a week, you will be amazed at the obvious difference. 3. Not Cleaning Your Brushes It’s disgusting to see women applying makeup with dirty brushes or old, unwashed sponges and then wondering why their makeup doesn’t look fresh, or even breaking. Wash your tools with mild shampoo or instant brush cleaner and replace them regularly. 4. Not Testing Makeup At All You can’t just hold up a pair of jeans to see if they fit, you have to try it on. The same goes for your makeup too. You can’t trust what it looks like in the bottle, as liquid products oxidize on the skin and in the air, small color and texture changes might occur. You need to test it on your skin first. 5. Forgetting To Prime Taking the necessary steps to prime the skin for [makeup] application is one of the biggest things in makeup application. After moisturizing and before foundation application, apply a skin primer to create a smoother, more hydrated surface that’ll hold your makeup in place for longer. RECOMMENDED PRODUCT: SHINE AWAY OIL BLOTTING PRIMER 6. Wearing Too Much Makeup Let your skin show. Unless you have severe pimples, foundation should only be used to correct minor redness and imperfections. Being heavy handed will actually make you look old. It is best to only apply a light coat of foundation and then use concealer to target specific problem areas. 8. Over-applying Lip Gloss Lip gloss should only be applied in the center of your lip for maximum impact and shine, while maintaining the perfect shape. Applying lip gloss across all of your lips does not provide shape, it just makes the lips look overdone. RECOMMENDED PRODUCT: FLORI ROBERTS - LUXURY LIPSTICK 9. Not Blending Your Face to Your Neck Aside from using the wrong shade of foundation for your face, seeing the line of foundation at your jawline is one of makeup’s biggest sins. Always blend down so your face is the same shade as your body. If it’s not, you are using the wrong color tone. follow me @stephiecosmetics src: http://www.stephiecosmetics.com www.stephiecosmetics.com

Am sure this comment is political. In the real sense of it GEj did not value the life of any nigerian other than his own life and family and dokubo himself value GEJ second term more than buhari's life. |
