Sure, you can still zoom on the 5 and 5a 5G, but it is not the same thing. Or he can gather like 160K and get a Pixel 6a tokunbo. Or better still he can meet Williams1000 with 240K and get a tokunbo Pixel 6 pro.

Or even better still, he can wait till the Pixel 8 series drop next month and that will crash prices small.

Pixel front cameras don't have AF. Also, it should be great under adequate lighting

If size is a deal-breaker for you, 7a has a 64mp main camera sensor and is the same size as the 6a.

Saw the Pixel 7 pro in real life and fell in love, it's prettier than this. That's why I'm using a skin 'cos I don't use cases and don't like the color of this. Only reason for wanting to upgrade.

I bought pixel 6a brand new because of size. I just saw photos from a colleague's new pixel 7 pro and the difference is 7 up. Should've bought any pixel with that 50mp sensor 😩 even if it was 6.

For network, idk. I use 6a and I have no problems.
Size comes down to personal preference. 6.1" is good enough.
For camera, check mkhbd blind camera test for 2022. I don't believe 5a is better, why?
Same sensor, same Google processing algorithm but with a better chipset on the 6a.
For battery, the 5a will last longer.
You mentioned so many things and left performance which I believe should be the most important consideration.
Tensor on the 6a is almost 3x better than sd 765g.

As for price, they launched at the same price I think.

Thank You. I can't deal with the heat biko! When my pixel 4a heats up, I get a notification with the random "phone temperature is too hot" and every other thing would be temporary suspend. I guess I'd go with the Pixel 7.

Lol, even with the heat on the 6a, I've never gotten that pop up. The frame is hotter because it's metal and you feel it there because that's where you hands rest on.

All in all, if you can afford the 7, why not?

The phone is great, but it heats up during normal use sha. You can feel the heat on the metal frame more than the back cover. Asides that, great phone
