You know the advantages yet almost all of the states created in the last ~30 years in the same Nigeria remain among the poorest states in Nigeria with most of the jobs created being in the government sector — a bloated system that depends majorly on handouts from monthly allocations since they mostly produce nothing. Start the campaign to abolish states in your region it is that simple don't be a hypocrite.

South East does not need more states created. Rather, it should intelligently merge states back to their original position to lift itself out of poverty. I am talking about merging Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu... back into their previous positions in Anambra and Imo. Creating states because other regions did the same is part reason why the Southeast looks no different from a warzone, much like the many northern states.

Why don't you consider SW been merged into one state?
SW is looking like a famine ravaged region of Ethiopia.

I have visited old Kano city and their museum I was impressed.I like their ancient method of tanning and dyeing industry that have survived till today.Timbuktu is also great historically and still standing.
I will not say they are the most developed because I maybe wrong.When you say something was the best you should be able to show proof.

Benin art I concur it was one of the best but you see ancient Benin city been the most developed in Africa I disagree on that.

Timbuktu wasn't burnt down to the ground at any point in its history, Benin was burnt down several times from constant civil wars. Rome wasn't burnt down at any point in its history,Rome used slaves to build its city,Benin didn't,you must understand that this so called Timbuktu is being renovated and maintained constantly. Also forest kingdoms are very susceptible to decay,even your modern buildings decay so fast in Nigeria today if they aren't maintained due to the weather conditions.

That is what I was saying, it was an exaggeration for the poster to claim that Bini city was the most developed city in Africa when they have nothing left of that era as evidence.
