lets stop beating around the bush, the truth is that Nigeria government from time immemorial has failed to provide jobs for graduates and middle class manpower.even if you employ obama or soyinka to proof read your cv,it is not a guarantee you will get a job. the fact is that i repeat is that graduates of today should stop applying whenever these people tell us there are vacancies except when such vacancy is at private sector, the reason is that they use your cv submission and application to justify their claims that jobs were advertisedbefore giving it to their relatives........
just look for one or two things you can be managing on your own stop wasting your hard earned monies on interviews and application till we are convinced they have your interest at heart.i tell you honestly the interest of the youth do not bother national assembly except when the youths engage on acts that will not allow them enjoy their stolen money like boko haram does..............

[s] The Nigerian Law School recently released the 2013/2014 August result, and about 4,000 students were said to have failed the examination which is a prerequisite for them to be called to Bar.
The students who paid over N300, 000 for the one year programme are angry and frustrated, blaming the their failure on the Director General of Nigerian Law School, Olarenwaju Adesola Onadeko, PM News reports.
They claimed that Onadeko wants to destroy their career by failing them en masse and they have called for a review of the examination as well as their results.
In their reaction, some of the students said: “Save Law School Students: The DG Olarenwaju Onadeko has come to destroy the future of over 70 per cent of students who wrote exams in August and has run to the United Kingdom to seek solace.
“#Please save the future of 5000 law school student, so that the results may be reviewed because some lecturers are in support of this movement as they know the DG asked for a lot of scripts to be marked down. Please this is the least you can do.
“The mass failure at the Nigerian Law School is an insult to the legal system. Kindly help address this issue by calling the attention of authorities that matters; while another simply read: “#Please save the future of 5000 law school students”.
“We the law students of Nigerian Law School protest the poor handling and marking of our Bar 2 final exam. Please we need the media to come to our aid,” an email read.
“The Nigerian Law School released the 2013/2014 August result. It was a Tsunami! Out of 6000 candidates who registered, about #2172 passed. We are talking of about #4000 students who failed”. [/s] |

farem: Ebola: Jonathan Welcomes WHO’s Declaration; Hails Fashola, Amaechi October 20, 2014Premium Times
President Goodluck Jonathan has welcomed the declaration by the World Health Organisation, WHO, on Monday that Nigeria is now officially Ebola-free after 42 days without any incidence of the virus. A statement by a presidential spokesman, Rueben Abati, said Mr. Jonathan dedicated the certification to the many “patriotic health workers, volunteers and ordinary Nigerians who worked tirelessly, some of them paying the ultimate price, to stop the deadly virus in its track after it entered the country in July this year”. The president also praised the state governments and other bodies involved the fight against the dreaded virus. The Ebola Virus Disease was imported into Nigeria in July by a Liberian-American man, Patrick Sawyer, who travelled from Monrovia through Lome, Togo, to Lagos. The virus later spread to Rivers State. Nigeria recorded 19 Ebola cases, and seven deaths. “The president seizes this opportunity to also reiterate his appreciation of the contributions of state governments, WHO and other international health organisations, relatives of infected persons and other Nigerians who either courageously underwent the rigours of being quarantined or complied with all directives issued by health authorities to defeat the virus. Mr. Jonathan said Nigeria’s globally-acclaimed success against Ebola is a testimony to what Nigerians can achieve if they set aside their differences and work together. “As the nation applauds the success of its collective effort to stop the transmission of the Ebola Virus within Nigeria however, the President warns that the entire country must remain fully alert and vigilant against the re-entry of the virus,” he was quoted as saying. The statement said Mr. Jonathan agreed with WHO that while Nigeria has won a battle against Ebola, the war will only truly end when West Africa, Africa and the world are declared free of Ebola” the statement read in part. “The President has consequently directs that all the anti-Ebola measures taken after the entry of the virus into the country should remain in place and that health officials should continue to actively screen persons entering the country through its air, land and sea borders for any sign of the virus,” the statement said. “He also urges all Nigerians to continue to follow the anti-Ebola advisories on sanitation and personal hygiene issued by Federal and State Health authorities.” very good news for Nigeria. |

Politics › Re: PDP Welcomes Buhari To Presidential Race: Faults His Claims On State Of The Nati by ojsmscom(m): 5:58am On Oct 16, 2014 |
kasiem: The Peoples Democratic Party is pleased to welcome to the 2015 presidential contest, the former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari who declared his intention today, Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
While we congratulate and wish him well in his ambition, we have noted some distortions and misrepresentation of facts in his speech and consequently wish to put the record straight.
According to General Buhari, Nigeria was generating 4000 mws of electricity in 1999 but has today fallen short of that capacity under the PDP.
However, the fact remains that as at May 29th 1999 when PDP took office, Nigeria was generating 1600 mws. We urge Nigerians to fact-check on this. Corroboration of this figure can also be sought from the World Bank, the IMF and multiple other authoritative sources.
In contrast, it is common knowledge that under the transformative leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria now generates 4568 mws of electricity; a triple of what was generated in 1999.
Again, General Muhammadu Buhari stated that a growing economy which the PDP inherited in 1999 has been destroyed within 15 years in office. This also does not represent the reality on the ground.
The fact which can be verified from the hand-over notes from the military as well as from the World Bank and IMF is that Nigeria was the third largest economy in Africa in 1999, behind South Africa and Egypt. The nation was also rated number 48 in the world, our Foreign Reserve at $3.6 Billion while our foreign debt stood at $36 billion.
However, it is incontrovertible that in the last 15 years of PDP leadership, especially the last three years of dynamic and purposeful administration provided by President Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria's economy has become the largest in Africa and the 26th largest in the world. Similarly, our Foreign Reserve is now over $39 billion dollars, and our foreign debts reduced to less than $7 billion from $36 billion.
Besides, General Buhari also told supporters that Nigeria’s agricultural sector has gone down under the PDP, a statement which also does not reflect the reality on the ground.
Verily, the fact remains that in the last 15 years under the PDP, indeed, the last three years of vigorous application of the Agricultural Transformation Agenda, there has been an unparalleled government input in agriculture, thereby pushing production to an all time high. Moreover, Nigeria food import has reduced from N1.1 trillion in 2010 to N684 billion.
While we understand that the APC is hell-bent on using every opportunity at its disposal to discredit the PDP in quest for political control, we urge their handlers to always cross-check their facts and stop making mockery of respected Nigerians in the mould of General Buhari.
Finally, the PDP again welcomes General Buhari into the presidential race and hopes that in the future, he will not allow himself to be further embarrassed in the course of his campaign.
Signed:
Olisa Metuh National Publicity Secretary

Daninya1: I really can't fathom why a lady will ignore her male Friends on any of the social network.. They seem not to care when you are online.. But, they are quick to respond with the speed of light when you send your Pm..
Some will even ignore it for days and you knowing fully well that that the message was delivered and read.. Some of your messages will never be replied... Why do Ladies act so cold and paranoid on social networks..
My sister once told me that she ignores her boo sometimes knowing fully well that he is online... Lollxxx... My girlfriend also does same... but, she answers my pm without delay... If you don't pm them, they will ask whether you didn't notice them online..
A friend of mine once deleted his cousin sisters on account of these...
So ladies, why do you act the way you act on social networks ... Or is there something we guys are not saying or doing right??.. . |
