Forex day-trading and sports betting are fundamentally fraudulent because they're promoted as a quick way of making money whereas due to mathematical facts, the only people who make money are the middlemen and marketers. The "investors" almost always lose their money.

In our experience, it's not enough to warn Nairaland members about the dangers of forex day-trading and sports betting. The promise of quick profit is just too strong for thousands of vulnerable Nairaland members to resist. The only way to protect them is complete censorship.

We believe that the complete ban of such content will make Nairaland a better platform for discussing legitimate entrepreneurship and finance.

hello everyone! pls I need your help, I formatted a newly acquired laptop of a friend of mine in order to get rid of everything the previous owner put in it. After the formatting, any time we boot or reboot the system, a pop-up displays that the windows software on the system is not genuine; that we might be victims of counterfeiting. initially, we ignored it, but later discovered that the pop-up (usually a warning sign) is always showing (like thirty minutes interval) when the laptop is in use. pls how do we solve this problem, the laptop is intended to be a gift. pls help!

Bro I'm sorry this feedback is coming late, network is poor over here....
I have done the above, now the system boots up but the screen doesn't...
The fans come on, the capslock button indicator is responding,the WiFi button is also responding but the screen just shows white... No sign of Life at all...
If I leave it on for a minute, the screen divides into two equal parts, a white part and a grey part...
And the system is acting normal, it goes into sleep after 5mins as normal but the screen is the issue now....

What do you suggest I do? I sincerely pray it ain't a damaged screen...!

Hello guys, please I need your assistance...
I've got an HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop running on Windows 10...

I had reason to travel without it for a month plus and the battery was low [20%]

Returned last week, charged it and tried putting it on but it's not booting...
When I press the power key, the light indicators come on and after 3 secs, the laptop trips off...

Sometimes the screen lights up and show a kinda white/grey background and then trips off immediately...

What could be the problem and how can I solve it.!
