IYA NGBALI: the strike should not be called off until the man is buried in the 3rd quarter of next year,this would be a sign of respect to the man and his family,but if they decide to call it off,i would not go back to school until the man is buried.

prof1990: Having concluded ASUU branches congress in various universities, where the majority of the branches have voted to call a quit to the lingering industrial action by Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU for the past four months; report from an impeccable source who pleaded anonymity revealed that the leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities are already converging in a yet to disclose venue in Kano State, where the union will eventually take the final decision to end the strike action that has paralysed academic activities in public universities.
The union is scheduled to hold National congress where final decision will be taken to end the strike. Our source revealed that the union will definitely call off the strike as majority of ASUU branches have voted in favour of the strike to be called off despite some branches who are opposed to the end of the strike. He further stated that the strike is as good as being called off, as the national congress in Kano is just to formalise the process.
In further affirmation of of Kano venue of ASUU congress, a former ASUU President, Mr. Festus Iyayi enroute to ASUU national congress in Kano was involved in a ghastly auto-accident and died instantly when Kogi State Governor’s convoy rammed to him according to UK base media, Sahara reporters.

fabby26: Why should you say such, this man is fighting the course of our decayed educational system, believe it or not, and change our university system for good, Universities keep on churning out half-baked graduate and you're already in that league. Instead of you to appreciate that fact. We are always blinded by the fact in that nobody is happy with strike. Know that Government has every mechanaries on ground to give the public the wrong impression about ASUU. If It means that ASUU should persist to get what they want, I am in support of that, instead of suspending it on air and just to go back following government deciept. Govt have decieved them for long, enough is enough. You that want to rush out from our half-oven universities as half-baked and join the train of already thousands half-baked graduates in the labour market. ASUU, am in full support. SOLIDARITY FOREVER!
