Ajiboyehify: Good evening everyone. Please I want to ask two questions 1. Please I just finished my authentication of my Waec and Bsc at the MOE and I also collected my eligibility letter. Which document should I take to the foreign affairs to authenticate again?
2. When filling my Poland visa application form, please the part that state that I should chose which occupation I am into, I am currently a self employed person, which the option is also there. My question is, is there a need for me to fill the employer details or not or I just fill my personal business details there?
Awaiting response. Thank you *you are authenticating same WAEC at MOFA *From your previous question its obvious u are going for bsc and going for bsc its advisable to use a sponsor, avoid self sponsor for bsc (i'm not saying you wont get visa if u use self sponsor). so my advice is, instead of choosing an occupation, just select the 'STUDENT' option. good luck on your application |

Tucode: Hello everyone one... Please I have a really urgent enquiry to make here. My cousin has been admitted into Vistula University and now we are ok n the verge of applying for her visa. The challenge now is the proof of fund. We learned that the POF funds must be in a credit card and a certificate of credit card limit should be gotten from the bank. However, the mother has gone to GT bank where she has an account and where the POF is, but the bank says they only issue credit card to domiciliary account and not naira account. She also inquired about the certificate of credit card limit but the lady that responded to her said they don't issue that. So what I want to find out is, must the credit card be a naira dominated card or can the USD credit card be used as well? And how do we go about getting the certificate of card issuance and limit? Please I need answers here from people that have gone through this process. How do we go about getting the credit card? Ok this was a major issue then but not to worry its something that can be sorted out. Most banks in Nigeria don’t understand this credit card limit stuff so. I think it depends on the branch u go to. Go to main branches, lagos, abuja and some other major cities, they might understand you better. I’ll attach a copy of the cc limit certificate so you could show them as sample. Please dont try to replicate this, the embassy actually verifies this document.

Genevach: Good day guys, how much is needed in naira for Poland BSC application(bank statement) How much is needed In Us dollar account if I decide to use USD??
If I add a payslip does it mean I don't need a bank statement or I'll need to add both?? Good day bro, you dont need a bank statement for your visa application. You need either a payslip or a credit card limit certificate from a Nigerian bank (advisable). The cc limit or payslip amount depends on the city you apply to. Cities like opole dont require a large amount because of its cheap living expenses compared to cities like warsaw and gdnask |

So guys i finally landed in Poland after so many hurdles. the journey wasn't an easy one but thank God i made it here. i have been here for three weeks now and o'boi it has been awesome. This thread has been helpful, if not nairalanders i dont think i would have crossed Nigerian borders. I am open to questions if there will be any, during my application i was confused at some point when i had no idea but i asked and i was responded to so i wish to return the favor. I wish u guys success.
ps: i'm so engrossed with studies so i might not always be here, in-case i dont respond on time you could email me, but i'll make sure i check back to respond to the best of my knowledge. thanks |

Schon007: Make sure your payslip is verifyable, pay attention to the net pay (after all deductions have been made). If you're adding CC, make sure it's a certificate of credit card limit and not a reference letter. Get sponsor letters from both sponsors, make sure they are notorized. Also pay attention to the dates (the notorization date should tally with the date the letter was written). Make sure the notorization lawyer signs. The name on CC or employment certificate should match the name of the person writing the sponsor letter. If you're using employment certificate, make sure it's recently issued.
Write an appeal letter stating why you were denied and what you've done to remedy it. You can add other documents if you see that time is running out and by the time they answer you, your resumption date would have elapsed so as to avoid number 8 thank you. I added an extension letter |

@Okerrionome94, if you need help out here then you gats tell us what you submitted I submitted an 800k payslip rn im about to tender a 7m cc but what i need to know is what other documents ill need to submit apart from the cc. Will i just have to submit a new flight reservation and the new cc or i will have to add other documents like i did wen i made my initial appication |

knytred: Please guys , I have read from the beginning of the thread and I’m still a bit confused , please who can assist me ? I intend going for a masters program, what is my best sponsorship option, I currently have 2.5mil , can I go as self sponsored , I also read about credit cards , and all that secondly I have a a relative who is abroad , what documents do I need to get from him, will electronic copy suffice , he can’t Dhl his original employment letter to me naw!! This one they are saying original documents ... and for proof of funds , is there an actual amount that should be in a an account for self sponsored or sponsored application and for how long ? (3 months )
Pls guys who can really break it down for me This whole financial part is very dicey because theres no particular pattern but first of all I would advise you dont use a sponsor abroad because according to peoples responses concerning that, it has caused a lot of visa denials. Preferably use a Nigerian sponsor and secondly as for the 2.5m, the amount in your cc should be based on the cost of living I the city you are admitted to. Expensive cities like Warsaw, Wroclaw, and the capital (couldn't spell correctly) are advised to use cc of 4.5m upward. I hope this little piece of information helps. All the vest bro |

My advise tho, if he's applying for bsc it will be better to use a sponsor but if its MSC then self sponsor is fine. All the best. lindasweden: They gave you visa requirements according to what is obtainable in their own country. The credit card thing is not too popular in Nigeria for some reasons. My own brother got an offer of admission today (2nd June) from the University of Opole with instructions on how to pay his tuition fee. I paid his first-semester tuition fees today from Sweden because I live in Sweden. So right now we are waiting for the school to receive the payment first and send him a proper admission letter which he will use to proceed with the legalization of documents/visa application process. I listened to a YouTuber who is currently studying in Poland and she did the same thing (printing of bank statement instead of credit card thing). In the case of my brother, he is self-employed as a transporter (private taxi driver) who is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). So he will be applying as a self-sponsored even though I will help him by depositing the required money into his bank account. |
