So does the US. lagging behind China translate to China being better than the United States? Absolutely not! The quality of life in the US. is way ahead that of China as seen in the number of Chinese citizens migrating to the United States in record numbers. One of the reasons why China can build projects quickly or destroy unprofitable projects is because of her political system where orders come directly from the leader at the top of the political hierarchy. It is the direct opposite in the United States where bills have to pass through various readings in the congress before they are either approved or rejected.
