chukel: federal parastatal and IGR? I really mistook you for someone who knows stuff. Kai. Why not state the infrastructures of your workaholic ikpeazu. there is more workers in Enugu than abia and Anambra. because you have always carried this propaganda around that ikpeazu is worst without any prove that's the reason I want you to bring ur data let's compare. but , if you can't , you can as well shut up . |

chukel: "abia should have more IGR than Enugu". I used "should" cos I know abia government is declaring false IGR. Same thing Anambra has been doing. You call 4bn just? How much do you think Dave umahi built king David college of medicine and the teaching hospital with? That place is world standard. If it comes to infrastructure, though Ugwuanyi has paucity of them, he has far more infrastructure than ikpeazu. Ugwuanyi's infrastructure are just classless. stop capping list them here, with a verifiable facts. list the infrastructures. why should they have more igr than Enugu. how many multi billion company is in those states. Enugu has more federal parastatals than them , that's why more igr. |
Politics › Re: Gov. Ikpeazu Lists Six Projects For Commissioning In May, Fixes Dates (video) by okeysoninv: 12:49pm On Apr 30, 2023 |
chukel: your truth is a clear lie. Ikpeazu is no where close to Orji uzor kalu. Ugwuanyi is a horrible governor but its an insult to compare him with ikpeazu. Ugwuanyi is miles ahead of ikpeazu. However, for the fact you compare ikpeazu with another failure in the person of ugwuanyi lends credence to the fact that they failed. Ugwuanyi at least pays salaries. Does ikpeazu pay salary? Enugu doesn't get 25% derivation. Abia gets. Abia should have more IGR than Enugu, yet nothing good comes from there. Your truth smells. we can begin by comparing infrastructural development of ikpeazu and ugwuanyi. all bring out what uzor kanu did during his tenure. Abia doesn't have close to Enugu igr , get ur facts . the 13% derivative is just 4b naira. Enugu igr is more than 30b naira now. |

hardbody: My last experience transiting through Aba some years ago made up my mind to never step foot there. My report here is based on assessment of my folks and friends staying in that state and location. My brother's wife hasn't been paid for more than 30months, my old boy stopped talking about his pension (thankfully i can afford to pay him that money in many folds), the only college of Education (Technical) in my home town has turned to a housing for rodents etc, with overgrown bush, Boss, I saw and heard nothing good about Ikpeazu, no vex. you were transiting through the federal road, so blame that to buhari, enter aba inside the roads are well paved or under construction. my own state govenor, ugwuanyi is owning pensioners , umahi is owning , wike is owning. it's not peculiar to abia state alone |

hardbody: Stop defending failure so that you yourself may succeed. All the names you mentioned were failures and performance continued to comparatively dwindle....bad, worse, worst. ikpeazu is far better than the two orji, aba is more better than the way he met. Except your economic with the truth. Ikpeazu is far better than current Enugu state Governor. The incoming Governor of abia will build from where ikpeazu stopped. Common, let's speak the truth. The man is about the commission , government house, factory, roads and hospital. Many did the predecessors done? |

ChEkWaSIyKe: Useless and failure. Indeed God rescue Abians from this e-diot.
I have been in Aba for the past three weeks for a seminar, believe you me there is no light in Aba. If I'm lying, those living in Aba will testify. Now tell me, how can the state attract investment without light? How can the people in the state will be able to do business without light? Seriously if you are in Abia state and have not travel to other state to witness development, you won't understand why Nigerians keep calling Okezie the most useless governor.
I went to Awka for same training and spend 1 month, there was at most 15hours constant light everyday. Little wonder Anambra is making progress. Umahi and Okezie entered office same time, look at the massive development, flyover and airport Umahi is leaving behind. What exactly is Okezie leaving behind?
Thank God Abians have been rescued and librated. is ikpeazu now in charge of aba power distribution you guys should learn to criticize constructively, ikpeazu did well better than his predecessors, T.A orji and kalu orji. |

COMPAQ: Like he said, EDUCATE yourself!!!!!
PAYEE goes to states based on where the staff lives Transactions between corporates companies Stamp Duty goes to FG Stampt Duty for transactions between individuals goes to States I believe WHT on interest and dividends earned by Corporates go to FG, while that earned by individuals goes to States N50 Electronic Transfer Stamp Duty is shared between States nd FG this taxes collected by Lagos State internal revenue. I deals with facts not a mere say market women argument.

ecolime: PAYE- They pay to LASG only for their workers living in Lagos. The same way they pay to state governments where the other employees live. Home address of employees determines where companies will send their PAYE to. Thus is why states with instability are loosing out.
Stamp duty- FIRS (Federal government)
WHT- FIRS (Federal government)
This is how it works you should go rest oga

Politics › Re: Southwest States To Launch Regional Electricity, Rail Projects by okeysoninv: 7:40pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Gajagojo: Stop talking nonsense Withholding tax is just a tax payment in advance. At the end of the tax year you either pay the balance if underpaid or get a refund if overpaid. It is not a special kind of tax. It is a METHOD of tax collection. To ensure government gets paid and people do not struggle if they have to pay everything at the end of the year at once
Oil companies are not engaged in activities that warrant stamp duty They are paid in dollars abroad. Stamp duty does not apply Stamp duty is paid to FIRS FEDERAL not Lagos state
The only tax they pay in Lagos is PAYE for ONLY workers living in Lagos state Most oil industry workers do not work at the headquarters mr man go and rest. do you know better than lirs. shame you don't want to learn. |

Jogs1900: From the attached, oil drilled by Mobil in 2021 is 127k barrels. So far they operate in Lagos, it's not out of place if they have their headquarters there. Look at it holistically, don't be sentimental. you're the sentimental person here, mobile pbd is even more 500k , you haven't even added condensate and gas. how much is GDP of Lagos if mobile investment in Lagos is close $5b |
Politics › Re: Southwest States To Launch Regional Electricity, Rail Projects by okeysoninv: 7:26pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
ecolime: Is Mobil paying Taxes to Lagos State government?
Oil revenue goes to FG bucket which is then shared across all states.
You need to research more... lol they pays tax to Lagos ; paye, stamp duty, withholding tax. etc. |
Politics › Re: Southwest States To Launch Regional Electricity, Rail Projects by okeysoninv: 7:25pm On Apr 28, 2023 |
Gajagojo: You continue to argue ignorantly and foolishly There is no company tax implication based on headquarters location Corporate tax is paid to the federation account subject to 13% derivation and the national revenue sharing formula. You just have hatred for Lagos but your assumptions are wrong. Unlearn them and update your knowledge. Only Mobil workers living in Lagos pay tax to LASG this toddler , find ur mate. we are not talking about tax here . |

Jogs1900: Will they drill on weekends too?On public holidays? Days of unrest in the Niger Delta? Oil distribution is throughout the country and they have investments besides oil rigs.Check the attached to have an idea. drilling is going on day and night. that's why they have shift. |
