...first, the unit of resistance of resistors is ohms, not watts...
secondly, the 4ohms is it the effective resistance of the resistor (total resistance) or the resistance of each resistor..if the later is the case, then you can go ahead with the solution.
having in mind that effective resistance for restors in series is = R1 + R2 ....and when in parallel it is R2R2/R1+R2....and so on..[/quote]

I wrote the test under the TPA category.I heard some people have their interview on the 13th.mine is on the i2th.i wouldnt know if they are calling in batches or not.

i dont think its going to be a second written test,according to their text,its a 2nd interview at their office and i suppose it will be an oral interview

they started calling on the 4th through text messages

i just received a text from halliburton inviting me for a second interview at their office on the 12th of june.i wrote the test at presidential hotel ph on the 7th of march 2008.cheers

I got the first invitation text for LWD on friday and i just got the second invitation for TPA now.The two tests are slated for the same day but different times.LWD is for 8am while TPA is for 12am.I actually applied for both positions when i was applying.I wouldnt know whether i should write the both tests or only one (and which one should i forgo for the other)

As i'm typing now am in the same crossroad as the poster's friend.I read Elect/Elect and got a 60k job in an automation company but recently got another offer from Zenith bank.I was supposed to resume in the bank yesterday and i had to call them to shift the resuming date to wednesday.But presently i have made up my mind to stick to my automation job.so if they call me tommorow,i will tell them i'm rejecting the bank job.

who knows when Halliburton might start calling
